Professor Layton and the Spectre's Call spooks Europe on Nov. 25

Professor Layton and the Last Specter, arriving October 17 in North America, will hit European shores on November 25 -- with a slight name alteration, as Professor Layton and the Spectre's Call.
Less a tweak and more a reduction in the European version is the absence of Professor Layton's London Life RPG. It was developed by Brownie Brown, who you may know as the developers of Mother 3 (another game that you might not have gotten to play). So, who wants to start looking for the best import deals?

I guess Level-5 thinks that a significant portion their European consumer base is already living a London Life and don't need a game that simulates it... or something :P

@Naru now in 3D Mmm I donno, I think London is creepy. Rather play there than in NYC or something worse in Canada.

So have they completely removed it, or do you just need to unlock it like in the Japanese version? Because I'd rather it was an unlockable than some already unlocked from the get-go like the US version, but if they actually removed it completely, well.... that's just stupid.

October 17th? *sigh* They need to get these out faster!
The First one was released Feb 2008. The second August 2009. The third August or September 2010 Now that we have a Level 5 here, they should be able to get these out much faster! We are so behind Japan's releases its not funny,
regardless, I'll be buying it on the first day., Wonder if it'll be one of the titles you can reserve at Target for $1....probably not.
Wait.....the 17th? That's a MONDAY...wouldn't it be the 18th?

My body is ready for a new Professor Layton. It seems like it's been forever since Unwound Future. On a related note, anyone else like the Layton movie? I could go for another one of those too.

Most likely it's because EU games are required to be in multiple languages (I think), so it's just not cost effective to translate and test a long RPG that's just being given away as a bonus feature. That's my guess.
