The Gunstringer's launch DLC free to all Xbox Live members on Sept. 20
12
The only thing more charming and out of place than an interactive, full-motion video addendum to a game about an undead marionette cowboy is free DLC. "The Wavy Tube Man Chronicles," an anachronistic add-on to Twisted Pixel's Kinect debut, The Gunstringer, is currently free only to Xbox Live Gold subscribers. Man, what a bunch of withholding assh --
"So right now DLC is free to gold members only but don't let that discourage you (or call us assholes yet ;)," tweets Twisted Pixel. "It goes free to Silver next Tues."
On the other hand, if you want to hurl obscenities at Twisted Pixel over an agonizing World 3 level in Ms. Splosion Man, we'll join you in a foul-mouthed chorus.

I find it really odd that the game box touts this DLC and Fruit Ninjas as extras (I assumed they would be the Proj10Dollar here) only to have the DLC go up entirely free. It's great, but odd.

The game-included card for the Fruit Ninja Kinect code also includes a separate 2-Day Gold Trial Code. So really, anyone who gets the game can get temporary Gold access and get the additional free DLC.
Cheers!

Isn't that how it is for all free things on Xbox Live though? Gold members get exclusivity for a week before Silver members? So I don't really know why this had to be reported.

Hate to say it but when I played Splosion man, it said "free DLC, click here" in the main menu. Click it, and get told despite actually buying the game, I just didn't spend enough (aka, I'm a Silver because I don't like being called N***** while playing Ticket to Ride, call me crazy...) to warrant actually getting the thing that's called free on my f'ing games main menu. Considering this is also getting touted as yet another bonus for people paying for the game, just not enough, I'm rapidly falling out of love with anything Xbox 360.
Just imagine how much of this system will no longer work when they pull the plugs! Things you PAID for....

@SheppyReturns - And if you wait a week after launch, it becomes free for everyone... You can get that 'Splosion Man DLC right now regardless of your XBL status.
Yes, people who pay get it a little bit early but it's not like this stuff stays gold exclusive forever.

@SheppyReturns Sheppy, shut up. Your talking like being called racial slurs is exclusive to one platform. There are plenty of ways to avoid all that or to help stop the people who do things of that nature. More so on XBL than on PSN for instance. So at the end of the day if your not gonna have XBL because of a name call, you shouldn't be online period. Your too soft. I don't even know why you post on here. I'm black and I'm tempted to call you that just to toughen you up

You're criminally underselling the content of the DLC with this post Ludwig. More needs to be said about a Mad Dog Mcree inspired FMV game in our day and age.
