That free game that Origin is offering for a Battlefield 3 pre-order? It's totally Dead Space 2! So now on top of early beta access and a host of DLC, EA is offering even more incentive by offering a great game.
Of course, there's a catch: there's only a limited number of copies of Dead Space 2 available. It's really silly, considering the free copy is a download. What's the matter, EA? No more storage space in the old digital warehouse?
If you want to go with Origin, you've got until September 19 to pre-order Battlefield 3 for your free ticket to the nightmarish space-romp.

Mm, don't get me wrong i hope that Origin does well but (and i know it's bitchy from my part), i don't feel the need to have another service apart from steam (i think i'm not the only one that thinks that way?).
Meh i'll just get the console version and be done with this

Did you fail to realize that the publishers still pay royalties to the developers? It's not about storage(sarcastic or not) I doubt any dev's want you givin away shit that they made for free for too long... Especially a AAA title like that...

Whats with all the Origin love??? lol Nah ,seriously, im not getting this purely because I dont want multiple logins and accounts roaming arround. Its beginning to get messy with all these social media stuff / mail programs / stores etc etc....everything requires a login, and im keen on making my life as simple as possible. The attacks on steam were inevitable though, ever since the industry saw how much money was made by it and how many gamers were fed up with the console generation...flocking back to their beloved PCs.Now if companies made the games actually FOR PC, and not use lame console ports....give us back the SDKs and dedicated servers...A man can dream right? :D

For those among you who were wondering: this offer is ONLY valid in the US and Canada! No Dead Space 2 for us Europeans :(
Boxed it is for me then...

I'm in the UK and pre-ordered the PC version through Origin. Went on the live chat last night and asked for my copy of Dead Space 2. Gave them my order number and had a shiny version of DS2 in my library within 5 minutes...
