Man, I love panzer dragoon. Too bad I don't really want to invest in Kinect. Even if I did, my cardboard box sized room couldn't accommodate it.

Understatement of the century.

Although, I always preferred Saga to the rail shooters. I really suck at those. I mean, REALLY suck.

From some of the description of this game with an almost RPG-styled leveling up/customizing dragons, I'm really hoping this little 'experiment' on the part of Futatsugi and team, ultimately leads to a full-blown Project Draco RPG. It may not be Panzer Dragoon Azel 2, but if SEGA is too stupid to go to that well more than once, their loss. With much of Team Andromeda back together to work on Project Draco, I will take an RPG in the Project Draco universe from them any given day of the week.

SEGA's loss. Microsoft's gain. Finally time to buy a Kinect.

I don't get why they're not embracing that name. I was little more than curious when I first heard about Project Draco, but after this preview I'm very excited.

Why isn't this an official Panzer Dragoon game, again?

Is Sega not publishing this?

@Dickhole Pasta There are not. I believe Microsoft themselves are publishing this according to the Joystiq info box.

Loved those games. Especially when giant babies fell from the sky, and then I killed them.....with my dragon. If you played it you would know.

I pity the man that doesn't want to play a game with giant, murderous babies. And what about the story? Soooo eff-ed up. Love it.

Plus the hundreds of awesome swords you collect .

Hopefully it will support the standard controller like Child of Eden. If it's an Kinect only title, it's sales will be worse.

Can this be played sitting down? Like if I took my kid's rocking horse and gave it wings and painted it to look like a dragon, could I play this game while sitting on it?

Not that I would, just asking...

How the hell is their Kinect working in the dark? I put lights everywhere and STILL the damn thing wont track my hands

@Enosoma Technically, lights have no effect on whether the kinect can track your movements. Since it shines its own infrared light to get the distance values it uses to generate the mesh, it should have no problem working in a pitch black room. I can't say why yours doesn't work though.

Perhaps having too many lights is exactly what's screwing up the detection for you.

Can't that make a game that doesn't require some silly controller? I mean come on Panzer you used the controller and it worked really well!

I think the Move and Kinnect are just gimmicks to get people to buy their product!

If you cannot do it right don't put it in at all! I think companies are just adding Kinnect support just to say they are doing it and it's just voice command or something silly like that!

Show me some innovation make me be able to point and shoot in the kinnect and that would be something but to move my hand to change guns I can do that with a touch of a button on the controller and probably faster too!

Have a gesture where you flick your hand and you can go through all your weapons quickly and then you can use the kinnect to actually shoot and fire secondary weapons!

I think the kinnect is just grasping as it is not selling like it was and many of the games coming out like Rise of Nightmares are getting really bad reviews and complaining the most about the horrid controls of the game!

At least on the move you have a real controller that you have something to touch like on the Wii!

I guess time will tell to see what MS has planned for the kinnect with upcoming games

@Faceless Troll

To be fair, not only will it be an on-rails game, but it'll be an XBLA game, so I don't see the issue with it being 4 hours.

No space for Kinect. In fact, I'm not even sure where 360 cables are currently located. I think somebody might have boosted them.

It's a shame because I've been waiting for a PD game for ages. Looks fabulous; that sky looks so, so blue.

With games like Project Draco, Rise of Nightmares, The Gunstringer, as well as functionality in titles like Child of Eden, I don't know how you couldn't want a Kinect. I need this game.

"Unlike some Kinect games, the motions feel very natural, and appropriately mimic the motions a dragon jockey would make."

Yes! This is what I expect for Kinect games, not just some tacked-on waving, but to make the controls feel natural.

Now someone just needs to make an adult-sized playground spring horse.
