Seems pretty sweet to me. I'm happy with my TE stick from MadCatz atm but I'll see how the FGC (Fighting Game Community) takes this and hopefully there will be some more healthy competition in the stick market.

@Grimbear13 What's the point of using an acronym if you're going to spell it out anyways? Are you hoping it will catch on?

Wow... I really REALLY want this. I've been avoiding the fighting game revival because sticks are hard to come by or constantly short ordered but seeing this I will have it. Razer make good gear (I'm actually even tempted to get the new SWTOR keyboard and mouse but that's if I win the lotto.) :-P

It's still better to make your own. With the PS360 or older Cthulhu multi-console PCBs out, it's even easier to make custom sticks now than it ever was. No soldering, no cutting open a controller for IT'S PCB, etc.

@tBanzai

I would live to make my own, bit the cost to do so seems more expensive that simply buying a premade one
$25 for the stick
3$ balltop
3 - 4$ per button of which you need at least 11total $33
$45 for a PCB (and try finding one in stock)
$5 for the USB
So far $111 minimum, and where's the case + plexi + shipping in all this...
If you know where to get stuff cheaper, let me know please!

Home Depot, my friend. You can get templates/blueprints from MAME cabinet enthusiasts around the web.

I want a stickless stick now.

Thinking about the fast tapping makes my brain think sticks are slow now.

Yeah, i got my TE and i'm good with that. plus i'm so used to the custom making artwork and stuff for it. should have made a dual console version too while you guys were at it. Then i'm sure people would have a reason to not pick a Madcatz TE Stick.

That looks pretty sweet. Only one question remains: HOW MUCH?

The real question is: How sturdy will this be? I've already gone through 2 Onza TE's, which crapped on me with regular use. The A button on my first one stopped responding, and the second one has a wandering right analog stick. Either way, epic want.

Unfortunate that they keep making these things for the Japanese fighters (the 4x2 curved button layout). MK players have no definitive consumer stick option...we have to resort to building our own, which is great if you know how to do it like me and many others, but a pain for people that are casual gamers and want the arcade stick experience.

I would love to get one of these for the pc (don't know if it's supported yet or not, don't remember if I read the original article) but knowing Razer, it's going to be $300.
