A brief look into Professor Layton's London Life

Really dislike NoE for not keeping this awesome extra in the game. We don't get it unless we import from America but America Luke apparently hasn't as good a voice acting.

The graphics look like a Mother game, and that makes me smile. :D

Hey guys! We need to get to the theater together but we only have 2 seats. Joe can't stay with Mary there because he's a god damn pervert. But Mary can't stay with Susie because they had a big fight. But Joe can't stay with Susie, well because he's a pervert- pay attention! Now how can we get everyone to the theater? "Yeah, but I can't ride in the car with the wolf because it'll eat my sheep"------- *DREAM WORLD APOCALYPSE!

God damn it XKCD, your superior knowledge destroys all of my dreams.

This makes me want a new Mother game... :(

Either way, I'm crazy psyched about this game. RRAGGH WHY DOES IT STILL HAVE TO BE ONE MONTH AWAY (no offense Europe)

What exactly do you do in London Life? Even though this game came out in Japan like 4 years ago all I could find on it was the same claim of 100 hours of gameplay. That's all well and good but... 100 hours of what? Are there actual battles and items and leveling up? I didn't get that from the video.

In any case I really need to go play the last Layton game, I'm always a year behind on them for some reason.

So let me get this straight...

In Japan, London Life was unlocked once you beat the main game.

In America, London Life is already unlocked from the beginning.

In Europe and other European countries, London Life is not included AT ALL.

Also, the voice actors differ between the US and EU versions (I've never played different region Layton games before so I'm not sure if this is something new or not).

The EU version has pointlessly had its name changed, just like the rest of them (probably to do with pronounciation in other languages or something).

What the hell is going on here? So if the EU version has better voice actors but no London Life.... Well, I can't afford both so I might have to go with my original plan of importing the American version. It'd cost me the same whichever version I choose but a local store has both versions up for pre-order so I can choose. Unless London Life IS included in the EU version but just an unlockable like in the Japanese version. That doesn't seem to be the case though but if so, I'd be happy with that. If anyone can help clarify all my queries, I'd appreciate it. I just want to make sure I'm getting this stuff right (and kinda hope that some of it isn't).
