Neversoft hiring for FPS, according to job listings

It would seem Neversoft is currently developing a first-person-shooter. The longtime Tony Hawk Pro Skater and Guitar Hero developer is currently recruiting a variety of positions that specify "FPS" in the title. Could the project for which it's hiring be the same "action shooter" we heard about last year?

Neversoft's job listings page calls for engineers, designers, artists, network programmers, multiplayer experts, and even a Windows PC platform lead. Since Neversoft is hiring for so many positions, we're inclined to think that this project is still fairly early in development.

I haven't seen that LOGO since Tony Hawk Pro Skater on the N64. Damn, It brought back awesome memories of infinite combos and maxing out the score limit :)

Wow. I didn't think these guys were still around. With all of the studio closures as of late, I just assumed Activision just bled them dry and threw them out.

I'm betting on a Call of Duty F2P for PC.

I watched a video of Rage the other day. 1st I thought it was Call of duty. Then I thought it was borderlands 2. Finally someone told me it was Rage. These games are all the same.

Rage looks nothing like Call of Duty. Where did you get that impression?

I'm hesitent because it's Bethesda, and I didn't exactly enjoy Fallout 3. But it still looks awesome!

It'd be cool if it was a sequel to Black, but I don't think that was activision.

Knowing Activison, this fps will likely grace the ps3, 360, pc, wii, ds, psp, 3ds, aaaaaaaand what the hell, iphone and android.

First Person Skating

Since Activision owns Neversoft, the only FPS I can think of is Call of Duty. What other FPS does Activision make?

Perhaps Activision wants in on the Red Dead Redemption market and we'll finally see a Gun 2.
