Dead Rising 2: Off the Record taps SABU to direct short film for Japan

Unless you live in Japan, you've probably never heard of acclaimed director SABU. His real name is Hiroyuki Tanaka, and his latest project is a short film for Japan to promote the upcoming Dead Rising 2: Off the Record.

The film is titled Tokyo Dead Rising and will be screened a day prior to the game's launch in Japan on October 13. If you're in the area, head over to Capcom-Unity's Japanese arm for details.

Seeing Frank West as a slim Japanese guy with very little hair is scarier than the zombies.

Curious what their budget was, 10¥? Minus the expenses for the camera of course.

The DLC for cod is good , but expensive .And black ops had only 4 dlc`s .This had like 7-8 and they are absolutly useless .

@pi4aama i think he means sequels and such, another words the amount of cods, tony hawks etc.

This looks awesome. Makes me want to match a Takashi Miike flick.

First they drop all Megaman games and now this garbage? What a slap in the face to Infune.
Sure his Dead Rising short wasn't amazing or anything but it was entertaining and some what polished.
