This is why i bought this game now and dint buy the first or second version. I even turned blood and gore of. Al tough this should also remove the blood from the floors and the gore should remove the dead mangled bodies that litter the floors.
My opinion about violents.. I dint need it in the 80's i dint need it in the 90's nor did it in 2000 and 10's isnt going to be any different. A good game should be able to work around it.
Its just that people think its cool to see dead people.. Well if you seen stuff like that for real you wont think its cool any more.

@(Unverified) So you want games to shield you from the reality of the story it sets before you? you want to shoot people in gears 3 and have them say "you have defeated me sir with those blank bullets, I shall now lie down and we shall say no more of it"?

@Killface for President Hehehe well no i do understand what you say here. but i am just talking about that things were just as cool without the blood and gore in the old days. I just want to point out that if the developer does it right killing the enemy can be just as satisfying without the blood and gore than it would be with it.
I just wish that the player had the choice on what they want to see and what not. For me dead and bloody bodies on the floor just make me sick and so does blood.. I just (like you kind of said) want to shoot the enemy and they would fall down and disappear in a spectacular way or not.
