League of Legends: Dominion ready for summoning

To be honest, after playing Dominion the other day for the first time. I myself am a new player so I mostly played against bots. But going straight into a pvp on Dominion for the first time I found it much more simple and enjoyable because of it's pace.

@Mayo20 Don't be scared to do PvP. Riot makes it so that you're matched up with people of similar skill level, so you'll be playing with people that have the same skill level as you.

I'm going to have to agree with you, casual simplicity is absolutely sickening. LoL, especially after the inclusion of Dominion, doesn't even deserve to be in the same genre as DotA. How can LoL even call itself a MOBA with its lack of denying, a deep mechanic for those with true skill, and with a silly emphasis on teamwork; really, I should be able to single-handedly carry the entire game through raw skill alone, LoL's balance is terrible in this regard, forcing me to actually cooperate to succeed like some casual scrub.

Honestly, we need more hardcore games for masocists like us, right Kyzhara? Someone needs to make a game for the real pros, perhaps something like competitive quantum mechanics. And that game had better have graphics for hardcore gamers as well, none of LoL's vivid colors and cartoony aesthetic, real players need hyperrealism with lots of grays and browns, dark and edgy really, because thats whats cool and hardcore.

Until that game comes out, I guess we'll just have to settle with DotA2; its going to be great to finally ditch those kiddies in LoL (because everyone but me is a small child) and roll with the real pros like I should be.

That was some heavy heavy sarcasm. Too heavy I would say lol. I think you read waaaay too much into what Kyzhara said.

I personally am not big on Dominion cause it makes some champs completely OP and others mega UP and a waste.

@StringTokenizer Im not saying casual gaming is bad -_-' hell, I play LoL over DotA myself as well, and really enjoy it. Just saying that I think the casual players will enjoy dominion more than the more hardcore players, as its more fast paced and has less complex gameplay.

Why do people always feel the need to immediatly act so hostile :-/

Whilst your rage towards Kyzhara was un-needed, if not downright rude, against the community as a whole it's the greatest thing since pie. It was absolutely beautiful to read, and had you been countering one of those raging idiots in the actual LoL community who hated the fact people could actually get their game on in 15 - 20 minutes rather than having to defecate in a sock for an hour (they will SCREAM if you leave your computer for ANY REASON, even attending to your 2 year old daughter!), you would have ascended to epic level.

You do address what's wrong with LoL and it's community though, muchless "hardcore" gamers. I myself have been gaming since the NES days, my earliest memory is playing Crystalis. Yet hyper-realism is boring, I find myself returning to Half-Life 1 rather than 2 most of the time (I love it's horror aesthetic), and while I love cool-looking characters, cartoony can also be cool looking, if done right.

Doesn't mean jack if the game is terrible though, and Dominion makes this game sufferable, even if it now highlights the terrible IP gain rate that they nerfed harshly.
