Super-secret public PlayStation commercial teases ... something

Kevin Butler is at it again, this time tweeting a mysterious commercial that teases some sort of reveal for October 5. The commercial tells the story of two paratroopers entering a strange nightclub of sorts and is packed with PlayStation references, including Sweet Tooth's van from Twisted Metal, a Metal Gear Mk. II and a photo of Parappa the Rapper. We're also fairly certain we spotted a PlayStation 9 in there.

Game Informer surmises the ad is merely a precursor to Sony's holiday marketing blitz. It's a likely possibility, though the darkest parts of Joystiq's collective psyche fear it may be related to the relaunch of PlayStation Home.

Rumors are circling that it's the long awaited "make Home not suck" feature everyone has been wanting.

Can anyone make out the person that you see turn towards the camera at the very end of the trailer? In the stone behind the date you see a character moving very briefly.

I'm pretty sure I saw KZ3 guns, Kratos, LBP's bubble, photo of PaRapper the Rapper, Resistance costumes?, spooky eyes in the forest (don't know what that means), TM's Sweet Tooth, MGS4's Mk. II...there may be other secret stuff like possibly a picture from Drake's Deception.

Could be for PSHome...or hopefully something like Super Smash Bros.

The parachute scene is from Uncharted 1 and we can also hear the Resistance sirens on the background (twice) during the parachute scene.

@Seiryuki The eyes in the woods were chimera, the there was a picture of parappa the rappa beside the lady in the playstation(logo above) kiosk, Maybe she represents The Playstation store? And on the Weapon rack there are some guns from Resistance and killzone. But also there is Ratchet's Wrench, and Lightning's Sword.

@MW49350 On October the fifth the trailer continues with Sly starting a drunk fight with Ratchet. then all hell breaks loose when Kratos trys to stop the fighting the only way he knows: By swinging around his chain swords and hitting everyone.

Something mechanical runs away when they first glance at the two dogs under the desk that the chick is at.

I heard the unmistakable Resistance horn during the commercial. I'm guessing that it's new DLC for Resistance 3.

Ok, this can't be for the Vita or PS4(>> why would you think they would announce the PS4 like this) since there was a logo for the PS3 at the end. I doubt this is for Cross-game Chat or the Home, Definitely not just for one single game or DLC (a little to expensive for that, don't you think?) And can anyone make out what the Place is called? The name is above the front door.
