That abandoned railroad car level is going to be cra-zy.

Either way, I'd love a physical copy (tempted to make a "wrapped in plastic" joke, but I'm being 100% sincere. The world pretty much needed this).

Cool. I've been watching "Twin Peaks" lately on Netflix since I missed it when it first aired. It's definitely dated, but still good. I think I might actually play this game. I hope it's better than E.T.

@Meekermoloko If it's not, it deserves an award
Not one to be proud of, but a reward nonetheless.

Atari 2600 games were still being made as late as 1990 and the console was still sold in some stores until 1991. That thing has a LOOONG sales life.

Just played it. Not too bad but I'll certainly never play it again.

The superior game it influenced is of course Deadly Premonition.

Click free download, have to wait 20 seconds for DL to appear. Oh, captcha phrase? I guess they really just want you to not want a free download. Cool then, enter that captcha! Another 20 second wait? Hm. ANOTHER captcha phrase.... Download.

Twin Peaks influenced Alan Wake?
I can obviously see Stephen King and the Twilight Zone in there, but I'm not getting much of a Twin Peaks vibe from it at all. Just because there's some mountains and lumberjacks?

Are you sure you're not thinking of Deadly Premonition?
In fact, you SHOULD be thinking of Deadly Premonition, pretty much every waking moment of the day.

@Zolbrod If you listen to the developers commentary in Alan Wake, they make clear references to Twin Peaks and cite it as an influence.

They really need to find another download mirror/service. It auto-canceled my DL--for no reason--and then wanted me to wait another 20 mins to try again... clicking the "contact" link asks for a sign-in. I won't be touching this--no matter how much I used to enjoy watching TP on TV--until it doesn't feel like I'm engaging in some shady offshore DL service.

I have no idea who set up those mirror downloads, but I can tell you that Jak's site has been getting slammed at an increasing rate ever since this started making the gaming site rounds this weekend.

Here's the site link in case you need the Mac version: http://jack.worlord.com/blacklodge2600/

Diane,

I am currently reading an article that contains information that details a game related to the events which occurred within the black lodge. I cannot begin to tell you how exciting this development is.

Oh Diane, I almost forgot. Got to find out what kind of trees these are. They're really something
