Google Plus' casual gaming cabinet may not be as fully stocked as the Facebook alternative, but one crucial missing piece of the puzzle has just been filled in: Megalithic social monolith Zynga has ported CityVille, their most popular Facebook game, to Google's fledgling platform.
The release comes shortly after the end of Google Plus' closed beta, and now that its e-doors are open to the public, we doubt this will be the end of Zynga's extra-Facebook expansion. Seeing as the company just posted a 95 percent drop in profit year over year, developing its products beyond its existing user base is a shrewd move.

It is apparent, neither of you have ever use Google+, GAMES ARE IN A SEPARATE TAB'S TREAM WHERE NOTIFICATION WON'T OVERLAP, in resume, Games are non existent there, Google games is a different platform but inside G+.

@klado I think it's the best way to do it really. I have started playing the games on G+ more than FB. The games on FB just feel annoying. Now when I play Angry Birds, I don't mind sharing my score because I'm not annoying anyone in the regular stream.

Not like it's right in your face. I never EVER see games advertised on my G+ page

Even though it's in a different stream to your updates, the fact that Zynga has got onto yet another social network makes me want to scoop out my eyes with a melon baller.

Really enjoying Google+. Not so much rushing to go out and play *ville on it though.
Love the fact that game notifications won't even show up on your stream unless you want to view them though, so I guess I'm cool with them porting whatever crap they want to since it won't affect me in the slightest

Anyone who wants Google+ to succeed should be cheering this. The ville gaming crowd is damned enormous.

Another good reason I don't really care to make the switch. Sure I have a g+ account but it goes largely unused. With these stupid games it will go even more unused.

Since the game notices don't show up in my main feed on G+. I don't care.
