Sometimes I think I just don't get art. But I love SotC, and so I know I really do effing get it after all. And I know because of KRS-One (SotC, and Banksy).

I've already put 4hrs into ICO tonight. Having bought ICO when it first came out I have to say the graphics are still amazing.

Brilliant games. If you don't have them yet this is the best opportunity you're probably going to get to understand the fuss. Fair warning though: playing them may cause depression as you realise there are very few games out there that offer anything near the same experience.

They did a great job on remastering. I have never played the originals but the outside scenes in Ico look great.

What is the projected playtime on these games? I really want to play them but i have soooo many games right now.

yeesh did they really have to bust out the scores like that in between. they ought to have just overlayed them so as not to interrupt the view.
i played the original sotc and while it was fun i didnt like the controls and framerates too much.
did they fix the framerates for this one or just remastered the textures?

I am happy you have been released. However, I'm kinda busy right now. I'll call you in May sometime after i finish Batman, Skyrim, Zelda, and Dark Souls.

Its a real shame that these games are going to be received just like when they first came out. So many other games coming out now and with my backlog I doubt I will get around to plaything both of these until next year :(

Last gen I only owned a gamecube, so I'm finally glad I'm able to play these two games. I've been looking forward to the last guardian since it was announced and now the wait is bearable. XD

Please editor, cod is crap. That game is only for mindless idiots who are douchebags and tools. Real games are good like sotc and ico good. That's what a real game is....its art.

And a real gamer appreciates games not for what they aren't, but for what they are. I love Ico and SotC. I'll be getting this collection despite owning the originals. And you know what? I also have fun with CoD. It's a fun game. What's so bad about having a game that's just fun? They don't all have to be artistic masterpieces and stories to carry on for ages. No, games can just be fun.
The real douches in the gaming fanbase are the condescending assholes who think only what they play and enjoy is what everyone should play and enjoy. Case and point: you.
GOOD DAY SIR.

actually I enjoyed call of duty for a while thank you very much. you don't think I know game to me just fun? Duh that is why I still play zelda ocarina of time over and over and over again. and no the real douche is you sir because you don't realize that call of duty is not meant to be fun. all that it does is make into jerks saying "that I'm the best". don't talk to me about game philosophies. Di ck wad.

I hated SOCC after spending untold time trying to find one of the earlier foes. Beautiful, but just not my cup of tea. Does ICO actually have a plot?

Seriously, what's so hard about following a ray of light?
Oh, I'm sorry. I forgot this is the generation of "gotta have every single little thing on a GPS with markers in my face at all times or else I can't find anything!!!" gaming.

I never found myself lost in the landscape. If I'm following the light and I hit a wall I don't go "BUH WHAR DO I GO?!?!!?", I just go along the wall and keep checking the light to see if I'm going in the right direction.
The light isn't meant to be one of those gigantic arrows you see on games these days telling you exactly where to go. You're supposed to use your own discretion and spacial skills to pinpoint to the location where you're supposed to go, like finding a treasure. Plus, getting "lost" in the world of SotC is hardly a bad thing. The way the system works, it lets you discover and explore the detail and care that was put into the world map. Actually taking in the world and tracking down the colossi is part of the game itself, it's not just about point A to point B. Those complaining about that simply don't understand that.

SotC HD looks stunning, but since nothing else on PS3 looks interesting, it would sort of be a $300 game for me. So, pass.

Sigh* I don't even need to come back to this page to see what will happen. Prepare to be downvoted followed by someone copy pasta-ing a list of PS3 exclusives.
If this is the only game from the ENTIRE PS3 LIBRARY that interests you, why do you play videogames at all?
