Huh. I honestly didn't think the Foo Fighters were still doing their thing, but google claims they released an album this year.

@TacoHell Agree 100%... Great album!

Freaparn must be living under a rock.

@TacoHell Agreed. I read an interview with Grohl that he didn't feel that current Rock albums had that feel of good rock, so he decided to "step back" and instead of working with a producer and computers to edit his music, he built a studio in his garage and produced the entire album by himself using tape (instead of digital tracks.)

Seriously though, best album since the Filter/STP "Army of Anyone" project.

Yes, everyone who has opinions and interests that differ from your own tend to live under rocks.

What's funny is Dave Grohl(Foo Fighters lead man) played drums for Tenacious D at Bizzcon last year.

@Apollo26

It's not that I lack faith, it's just that Ozzy Osbourne, Tenacious D and Foo Fighters all are dead and forgotten.

@SuperAngryMeatBirdBoy If by "dead and forgotten" you mean they just released a new album this year that easily ranks as one of their best, then yes, they are "dead and forgotten"

@SuperAngryMeatBirdBoy
You do realize that Foo Fighters current album is on the Billboard Top 200? And that two songs off that album are currently on the Billboard Hot 100? The people at Blizzcon are in for a treat. I just saw FF a couple weeks ago, they kicked a$$ for THREE SOLID HOURS. I'd like to see any of these other pansy "bands" out right now play for three hours. Dave does an amazing three song acoustic set in the middle. I will see FF everytime they come though town. AMAZING.

@SuperAngryMeatBirdBoy Ozzy, maybe. But Foo's newest record that came out this year was their biggest yet, most popular yet. So you are statistically wrong.

I preferred the 2008 set of Patton Oswalt and then Blizzard's band L90ETC.

@Teliko Yeah, it does kinda suck that the Elite Tauren Chieftains don't seem to play anymore.

@freaparn The album was number 1 all over the world, their most successful yet and was easily their most marketed, with a film coming out alongside it and many successful singles. Butch Vig produced, it was recorded on tape and Krist from Nirvana played on a track, pretty momentous. So yeah, kinda unsure how that went over your head if you've ever followed them at all.
