"We're actually inclined to skip right over two of the groups -- Breaking Benjamin and Dream Theater -- as they've both already had DLC tracks added to RB3 in the past."

But those are the best bands in this article!

haha! Yeah right! Those are the 2 worst, followed by Coldplay. Stevie Wonder is is by far the best musicians, he's better than those other 3 combined.

Dude, I'm sorry, but I'm lol'ing pretty hard myself at the notion of Breaking Benjamin ever surpassing Stevie Wonder in terms of quality.

I said Breaking Benjamin and Dream Theater are the best "bands" in the article. Stevie Wonder isn't a band. That's sorta why I decided to use the word band, because you can't really compare them to him.

I just wanted to comment on how the author of the article wanted to skip over the two bands....I mean, screw Coldplay man

that he's a hugely influential musician that can play his piano better than I can play my guitar, and he's blind. I know he's one of the greatest musicians around but my point is that you shouldn't just skip over Breaking Benjamin and Dream Theater. Besides, we all know metal is the world's greatest genre, so it's a crime to skip over Dream Theater

It doesn't matter how good Stevie Wonder is musically (which is debatable in its own right). His songs are going to suck for Rock Band. Sure they'll be great for the keyboard, but who cares? And does anyone sing anymore?

Harmonix released a crappy new instrument that forced them to cater to it by having to pick music that is without a doubt less fun to play for the other instruments, which in my opinion was a terrible policy and has brought down the quality of DLC for the last year or so significantly.

Breaking Benjamin is a sold 4 piece band and they're tracks from the past have been fun. Dream Theater even more so, each member being amazingly talented. I'll take 4 fun instruments over 1 any day.

What the hell are you going on about? They release a sound garden pack one week. 0 keyboard. It's just who they can/wantto licsense and who does sell. Also when they finish them. My friends and I have had 0 complaints about the keyboard being added when it comes to other instrument DLC. We complain that we have to limit it down to about 200 songs when we want to use they keyboard though.

You do know that Stevie Wonder has a large backing band, right? It's not just a man and a piano/synthesizer.

I appreciate what you guys are doing, and I otherwise wholeheartedly agree with you about Stevie Wonder, but you cannot downplay Dream Theater.

Honestly, I can't stand their music (and it's little to do with James Labrie, they just feel so mathematical and methodical), but give credit where credit is due... they're virtuosos!

Its either that or a single off their new album.

I'm personally hoping for Metropolis Pt.1

@thesignpainter Let's be honest, Coldplay is certainly a much more Rock Band-friendly band. Viva La Vida works better with plastic instruments than The National Anthem.

Those orange shadows around Stevie Wonder are what he 'sees' via his shades which dock into ports at his temples.

Variety is the spice of Rock Band, but I have to say I'm pretty disappointed with this "big announcement."

I kind of wish Dream Theater would get a pack instead of a single. There are quite a few songs that would be nice to have in Rock Band. But hey, at least there's going to be at least one more Dream Theater track added so that's good.

There's only one Stevie Wonder song I'd consider buy: it begins with an S and ends with "uperstition." Make it happen, Harmonix!

I LOVE Coldplay. One of the best bands of modern rock.

And yes, I do love Stevie Wonder/DT (can't say the same for BJ)

I don't appreciate the Dream Theater dissing in this topic. Nevertheless, I wouldn't be surprised if the track is going to be "On the Backs of Angels" from their newest album, A Dramatic Turn of Events.

And what the bloody **** is wrong with you people? Someone got down voted for hoping for Pull Me Under? Yeah, 'cause it would TOTALLY suck to have an actual GOOD DT song for a change...

Mmmm - Radiohead. Just, Paranoid Android, Lucky, High And Dry and Karma Police. I'd buy that as a track pack ten times over.

I can't listen to Just without thinking how brilliant that would be in Rock Band. In fact I seem to have that thought far too often when listening to music...

@Once known as Shadsy

I have to agree. I'm a huge Radiohead fan, and I don't care for most Coldplay, but I will admit that they are probably a better fit for Rock Band. I'm also a huge Rage Against the Machine fan, and I've bought all of their DLC, but I can also admit that they aren't the most entertaining to play. Some bands are just a better fit and Coldplay is a great choice in order to bring more mainstream rock piano parts to the game.
