They need to nail the controls for this game. Io interactive games always have shitty controls....
Kane and lynch would have been brilliant if it weren't for the shitty controls. The old Gorman games had shitty controls too....

I've never played a hitman game. Were the other ones stealth action?

@warmonk They were way more stealth focused. But you go on a mass murder of everyone on the map, not the ideal way to play, of course ;)

I wish I had the patience to play these games like that. Whenever I play a stealth game, it usually ends in a blaze of glory.

@Zoot Suit Jedi Grammar Hammer En i feel ya, though finished Hitman 2 the second time in a stealthier manner and it was more fun, The First time i finished it i used the DOOM Conventional Way shooting everybody i see.

Looks nothing like a Hitman game, though that may not be a fault. I've been a huge fan of the series ever since it started, and some of the changes look welcome.
I'm still looking forward to seeing how this turns out. I just hope we have much of the classic Hitman we've come to know and love in later gameplay reveals. Granted, this was the first level (tutorial) to familiarize you with styles of play, so of course it's going to be linear (like the other games first levels).
We shall see!

Hmmm, I'm not sure what to think of this. It looks good, but it looks more Splinter Cell Conviction (not the earlier, better Splinter Cells) than Hitman.

Honestly I have never really played a Hitman game. I played like the first level of Blood Money and some of the first game but never got into it like my brother did.
Might have to give this one a go, it's got that Batman feeling to it.

How is this nothing like a Hitman game? There's stealth. There's disguises. And yes, he did kill unnecessarily, but as with most Hitman games, the choice to kill or go for silent assassin is left up to the player. Not sure why you say this isn't anything like a Hitman game.

Forget what i said. But this is a huge improvement from the series. No more stiff movements. The combat looks a lot more smoother. But I'm going to miss the spinning in circle thing. But all this Vision thing like Eagle vision i don't like.

I think it is just one mission so far that's like this.
What he is referring to is the open-ended approach for every mission that previous Hitman games have yet. In this trailer, all we saw where either silent or offensive approaches to each scenario.
Much more linear in level progression than other Hitman games. Those games had a more "sandbox" approach to each individual level giving you various points of entry/exit/kills.
I'm still getting this, even though it looks more action oriented, still looks like a ton of fun.

I dont get why people are saying it doesn't look like a Hitman game.
Looks totally like it.
The reason this one is actiony and scripted is because its a demo/turtorial level. Meant to show off as much as possible.
No doubt we will get an assassination level in the next demo

Hasn't the series always been about sneaking around, killing dudes, and stealing their clothes?

Stylistically, it seems similar to Harold Washington, and there is an L platform right there, but the layout is totally different.
That being said, still a totally awesome setting.

Looks like a lot of fun. A little too violent for my Hitman tastes but hopefully the later levels will allow me to be a Silent Assassin when the gameplay opens up a bit.
Definitely going to have this on day one.

I'm agree the game looks totally like Splinter cell conviction. You have to try that game before this. You will see 70% of the same.

I don't know whether to be madly excited or slightly sceptical. The depth of the NPC's was just amazing. It will be interesting if you get that kind of depth throughout the game, and if you get it if you did that mission in a different way. I'm hoping it is consistent, as the NPC's were one of the biggest problems in the previous games imo.

Clearly this is the tutorial level thats just been played out without the tutorial aspect. In each situation theres only one way to acomplish it and its there to show you how to handle situations. I am looking forward to the rest of the missions where you are actually set loose and its upto you how to finish the job. Cheers!
