Piss off. These types of things used to be called CHEATS and were unlockable on every copy provided you had the skill.

Now cheats are considered pre-order bonuses or DLC. For shame.

The main income of the biggest iPhone games ("free-to-play game") now are also, basically, buying cheats.

Damn right. I can understand this type of nickel-and-diming in free-to-play/freemium games, but for full-price titles, this just seems like another way to lock down 12-year-olds' lunch money in a competitive market, along with repackage said DLC into bundles for the less excitable customers down the line.

It's funny how these talking points always spring up so conveniently after TotalBiscuit discusses them on his videos.

Not saying I don't agree with the sentiment, but the parroting is just ridiculous.

I googled this TotalBiscuit but all I got is a guy that's posting Starcraft vids on youtube.

Never seen anything by him before, and after 20 secs of watching his video - never will again.

There better be a big head mode, that's all I'm saying.

For a mere 160 points or 1.99, yes, you can relive that CLASSIC mode.

Dumbest preorder bonuses ever? Yes, I'd say so.

Given the "bonuses"(and overall sentiment thus far), I'd rather have a re-release of 007 NIGHTFIRE actually. :\ At this rate, I might as well eBay an Xbox or GCN version for cheap.

Oh man now that was a great game with one of the best opening theme songs ever. An HD remake or re-release on XBLA would be awesome.

You know, you'd think Thanksgiving arrived early judging by all the f@cking carving that's going.

Forget this.

I used to be a sucker for preorders. Back in the "good ol' days" of just a few years ago, they were usually tangible objects, and you could often get the same bonus from multiple retailers - it all came down to the best deal.

DLC ruined this, and now we get stupid-ass golden guns and early unlocks. Why even bother with different bonuses at different retailers? Same shit, different ass.

Maybe I should thank you, gaming industry, for relieving me of the burden of buying so many titles at launch and at or near full price.

I remember back on Goldeneye for my N64 when I didn't get powerful weapons because I only ordered the basic version.

Christ above...

The Source mod is probably more fun to play than this game is.

Weak pre-order bonuses for a weak looking game. Fitting.
Who would buy this game day one with both Battlefield and Call Of Duty out at the same time?
Everyone knows that even if they are interested, this sucker will fall to 20 dollars with three months.

We've got a serious Dumb f*** infestation here. You all need to chill out. They're just preorder incentives. Just because you get a paintball mode for preordering at Gamestop doesn't mean the game won't have any other cheats, nor will it just "suck". For all you know, it could just be unlockable later anyway.

I'm definitely going to buy this game. The graphics look good, the controls look good, the gameplay looks good. If you don't like it, that's okay, but don't hate on it needlessly. It hasn't even come out yet, and frankly, I'm still guessing it will be better than that Battlefield 3 crapfest.

Still super curious as to why they think slapping Goldeneye on things is a selling point to anyone. That game doesn't resonate at ALL anymore, and that's without the help of their piss-poor attempts to cash-in on it. This is coming from someone who was 13 when Goldeneye was around and thus had zero money to buy new games and crazy amounts of free time to play the ones I had. Let it die already!

I still buy new almost exclusively, but I feel better paying $20 for a solid product than $60 for a short game in need of a few patches.

As long as the gameplay is as good as the N64 one, I'll just buy whatever. All the pre-order bonuses will eventually be DLC anyway. Or unlocked in game.
