@Cleric Remember when people used to stand up for their rights instead of siding with big business against their own interests? That's what you're doing, claiming gaming companies exploiting their (idiot) fanbase for every last penny is some kind of progress. Progress is when things get better, not worse; not merely time moving on.

I love how people support getting ripped off when they say "times change".

So, when the ability to pause was put into games (man, that was a huge feature, it was so much more advanced than the Atari systems which couldn't) it didn't cost us extra.

The idea that you are getting RIPPED OFF, and support such things by being indifferent to accepting of it, and saying "times change", is what is going to one day potentially end up giving us games that are completely empty, and you have to buy every single part of it to play it.

@DethLocke I call shenanigans! Jesse was in a girl group because Screech was in the ladies' locker room as Sinead O'Connor the lady janitor and had the girls sing into a microphone disguised as a mop and between the girl group and her studies and so she started taking caffeine pills instead of drinking coffee black and got addicted to them and that's why she was so excited and so scared!

I remember, all too well. And the fact that I typed all that up without consulting anything despite not having seen the episode since it actually aired (or maybe rerun, either way it was maybe fifteen years ago) kind of scares me, too.

As cool as it is, the animated series' Batman skin is going to look extremely creepy against the realistic backgrounds and interacting with other characters. If i was a thug, seeing him would definitely scare me the most!

All I want is the BATMAN BEYOND skin, mostly because of my fandom of it and I'm fairly certain we'll never get a decent game of that(the RETURN OF THE JOKER game was simply awful).

@foxhound

Are these just skins, though?

The Dark Knight Returns skin and the Batman Beyond skin have me a little puzzled. DKR Batman seems like his thicker frame would cause clipping issues if he was using an identical animation set to the normal skin, and the Batman Beyond suit doesn't have a cape- will it have functioning rocket boots, or will it just look silly while gliding around the city?

Preorder at Gamestop as a Preorder bonus and you can get one of those skins for free, yet you'll probably end up paying the $4.99 price anyway to get the others (including the Animated Series one).

Yea, I think Best Buy's free $6.99 Robin pack wins my preorder.

I'd say it depends on which ones you go to, they just revamped their gaming department to better compete with Gamestop, so of course there are bound to be a few clueless employees placed in that department.

Now that I remember, I ended up doing something similar when I preordered L.A. Noire at Gamestop for the DLC, only to later buy the Rockstar Pass and get it included anyway. My "Preorder exclusive" Naked City code for PS3 is still unused if anyone would like it.

@whylekat I noticed that too. Every Best Buy I go into none of the employees have any any clue how to pre-order a game for me. Greeter, customer service desk, department associate, cashier, doesnt matter. Maybe other Best Buys have more video game educated associates then the ones around me though.

Same here with the Robin pre-order, seems the best out of all the deals. With Nightwing coming Nov 1st, my Batman experience should be wrapped up by the time Skyrim rolls around. Nov. 22nd for Robin? Yeah, no thanks!

@(Unverified)....With the Best Buy pre-order you're essentially getting a free character (challenge room only) but he has unique moves, weapons, etc. It also comes with two skins for Robin, as well as 2 unique challenge rooms.
