A year ago I had 2 Blockbusters within a 5 mi radius, now I'd have to drive 25mi to get to the closest one. (If it's still there as I type this)

@Giovanni117 I just checked and there are almost 10 Blockbusters within 11 miles of where I live. So their still around but this is where they've decided to have their 300 moment. Last stand.

Wouldn't you be to busy playing to take advantage of the deal?

@Metalsocks Yeah, I would be too busy playing Skyrim to take advantage of a month-long deal. Also I'd have to get to Arkham City at some point.

@Metalsocks

Blockbuster will not be in business in a month, so you really will not be able to take advantage of the deal.

In fact, I thought they already declared bankruptcy.

You need to be Batman just to find a Blockbuster.

Only just barely though.

Altough, the skin doesn't look like 'Robin the Gay Boy Wonder' so maybe Best Buy is the way to go.

Best deal so far is from Kmart. You buy Batman you get a 30 dollar gaming coupon towards future gaming purchase, and a 10 dollar gaming coupon towards some new LOTR game. Of course you have to be a kmart rewards member to do this. I am doing it and using that 30 dollar coupon to get Skyrim for 30 dollars cash. :)

Thanks for the heads up! :D It would be nice to see a list of all the major retailer's "pre-order" stuff for this game. I can't recall a prior title with so much offered.

They do not offer PC games, so this deal sucks.

That last paragraph is exactly what kept me from doing this. I can't find anymore near here!

Awesome, just called the store 1.5 miles from my house and they're still open. I've missed playing just about all of this year's games and one month is a good start.

The Blockbuster 3 blocks from my house that I went to ALL THE DAMN TIME to rent movies, buy candy, and get older used games at just CLOSED.

FFFFFFUUUUUUUU...

Well, whatever. I just hope Gamestop has the good sense to buy up the property. The next closest one is about 8 miles away, and the property is right on one of the major streets in my city. They'd be stupid NOT to set up shop there.

We all know why Blockbuster would even put out this deal. They will give you this credit for the month than everything you want is not in stock. So basically you get screwed or you end up renting things that you don't care for. This is always how Blockbuster is.

They never have enough titles in stock

They're not only doing this for Batman, but ANY game you preorder for $10. So while your busy playing the game you preordered and picked up, you can rent movies for free. How is this a bad deal?

@GiantGamer

I love Borders, but i've been reading that it was poor foresight and poor upper management that killed the company, not the internet. Both Blockbuster AND Borders could offer the exact same services that Amazon and Netflix do, but they didn't. Either the companies were too stubborn or just ignorant of the business trends. Nobodys fault but their own.

Yeah, pre-order from Blockbuster. Good try Blockbuster!! Why don't I just order it from the drunken leprechaun at the end of the double rainbow? At least I'd have half a chance of actually getting my pre-order.
