Ok, I get that the game is 99 cents however why is it always such a priority on joystiq to report it when "x" game drops in price- especially if its iOS? There always seems to be a bias in regards to reporting on iPhone news. Where is the news on Android and WP7? I have an iPhone 4 and even I have picked up on it. Is there only one smartphone platform with worthwhile games on it?

-end rant, sorry...

The thing is, that the rant is never over, it is just spread across posts. A comment like this is on every iOS article. Maybe the Android peeps could submit tips of interesting apps or even submit articles/reviews and hope to become a writer.
My gut feeling is there are few if any Android-only apps (maybe that impression is Joystiq's fault).

I agree, the rant may never end. I hope that Android and WP7 are able to develop an app/game store on par at least. Competition is good right? I suppose I've been on engadget too much lately- there is an Apple post every single day of the year guaranteed. Joystiq is starting to trend that way as well. Its not that I dislike Apple (I own one of their phones) however they seem to receive a disproportionate amount of press. Whether that's deserved or not is up for debate, however it would be helpful if there was more recognition of other smartphone platforms. Joystiq highlights indie games all the time- how about picking an Android or WP7 gem once in a while? I wouldn't know if either platform had any worthwhile games judging by the amount of press they receive.

The problem is that a lot more games come out for iOS than Android. I've got both devices and the selection of games on Android lags way behind what is available on iOS, not to mention that the games that are available for Android tend to also be available on iOS anyway.

And of course the main reason app developers are focusing on iOS is because most Android users expect things to be free. Until that changes Android gaming is going to be hamstrung.

FYI this is also coming out on XBLA, but you can be sure it won't be 99¢ !

This is a fun game, but is hard to recover once you start losing....

Saw it a little before 1am EST. Went to check out reviews (and what difference was between normal and deluxe versions.) when got back at 1:05 EST, price was 5 bucks again. Either wrong reporting or company mistake. Too bad, not gettin to at 5 bucks.
