You're complaining about a free update to a free game!? Talk about entitlement. This update brings a lot more things than a new map and hats. New item presets, big sale in the store, re skinned weapons etc. get over yourself

Free is a really nice word but free doesn't magically make everything unquestionable. Getting over oneself one realizes that nothing is actually free.

The years of support for TF2 were not "free" they were a valuable loss leader to valve, how many people do you think joined steam and became loyal customers because of TF2? That was their payoff, otherwise they would have scrapped support years ago.

Mind you it was really nice to see the new default loadout slots and that they finally got around to changing the strange weapon "event" notices so they do not require the user to physically close them. Because I really didn't care that (insert player)s (insert strange weapon) just reached a new kill count and I certainly didn't need some marketing ploy shoving that in my face.

Now you get to the really fun part of the update where it breaks nearly every mod in existence..... So thank you valve for killing off what kept me coming back to TF2. It will probably be a good month before some of the mods get back on their feet..... So you will have to excuse me if the addition of a few redundant features and the removal of some overt marketing, plus a crapton of new hats to buy ..... doesn't super thrill everyone.

BUT ITS FREE DURRRHURRRPDEEEDURRRP......
you may downvote now.

@rullers You realize there WERE a few new weapons released with this update, right? There a couple demoman items, and that sign you can put pictures on.

Quit your bitching. There's already TOO many weapons, I think. Asking for more at this point is just greedy.

Whats even worse is YES there will be more new weapons, you're just an entitlement whore.

BY THE WAY you are a real putz. They actually did add 3 new weapons. A two new melee weapons and a pair of boots for the demoman. But of course that's NOT GOOD ENOUGH for you because they are really just cosmetic differences.

Every time I read something Valve does with their games my faith in PC gaming is cemented just a little more.

Meh. Mann co. I'm just glad I bought the game when it was $30 and didn't get it at F2P time so that way I don't have to buy anything to be "premium". I was originally going to buy from it, but the info you had to give, such as phone number, address, etc. was too much for me.

It's not that I don't trust Valve, (I do more than any company on the market) but if my account was hacked like PSN was, I'd lose EVERYTHING.

Keep in mind, that was Mann co. launch day, they probably have it changed now but I've never went in to see. I'm fine with my Safe'n'Sounds and Huntsmans for now.

@KGameLover1

You always have to put that information in to make a credit card purchase. Otherwise people could just guess your freakin' card number and buy shit.

If you don't want them to store the information after the purchase, then don't click the little box that says "save my info". Derp.

@KGameLover1

Inform me then on how you were trying to make said purchase w/o a credit card such that it asked you for all that personal information?

Also, how did you buy the game in the first place? Because Steam Wallet uses the exact same checkout system as anything else on Steam...nothing new, nothing different.

This update was completely free of charge, there was nothing you had to pay in order to receive it.. None of the things included in the update are you obligated to purchase

The best part about this update is the extra misc slot. AND Bonk Boy and Foster's Facade are now misc slot items instead of hats, and I have both meaning I can wear even more stuffffff simutaneously.
