Leaked Soulcalibur 5 screen shows mysterious character (and it's not Ezio)

We know, we know, the big story here is that Assassin's Creed sneakster Ezio Auditore da Firenze may have infiltrated Soulcalibur 5's dramatic tale of swords and souls, but look! There's totally another dude up there, completely unaccounted for.

We've been over our tipster's image with the finest fine-toothed combs money can buy, and every single character on this screen can be quickly and verifiably identified, except for the dude to the right of Ezio. Head past the break for a breakdown of the menu and let the wild, rampant speculation begin.

I didn't think I would be this excited for this game. I haven't even played Soul Calibur since SC2!

That's debatable. That those games marked a mechanics and fluidity departure from 1 and 2, however, is not. Is it a good or bad thing? Opinions.

It's not a big deal. That's the joke. Obviously Ezio being in it is the big deal but Mr. Mallory (/Prof. Arturo voice) is acting like that's not even interesting.

The saddest part of it all is that being a long-time fan (since the days of Soul Edge/Blade), the whole first row is irrecognizable to me (I mean, except from what we heard from them already). I say this is sad because SCIV introduced a bunch of bad characters. I know some players can get around using Setsuka - not me - but I'm yet to see anyone who can - and willingfully will - pull something off with Hilde.

I use Hilde frequently. I like her design and he chains are a fine middleground between the slow power of Siedfried and the quick hits of Cassandra. A close friend of mine loves using Amy. So neener!

Thought I had undergone a twist ending where I was under the illusion that it was Voldo but in reality, Volda. So thanks for the comment.

@kvn7918 If they put any Jojo character in this game I'd be preordering. Even from Gamestop if I had to. Heck, even one of the DUWANG jobbers and I'd be there.
