For all the pissing and moaning about the beta, I saw way more people add preorders to bf3 rather than canceling after the beta, or people canceling mw3 for bf3.

@ijyt It was. But they aren't including data from Caspian Border because only PC players got access to it.

You might think that its stupid for someone to cancel a pre order over a beta, but it was equally stupid for dice to use an "old" build to run the beta knowing full well they would be judged on how the beta was compared to how long they have to fix the issues.
After medal of honor and the fact that dice wasn't exactly fast at fixing major lag issues in bfbc2, the beta gave me serious concerns. Hopefully its good, but I will wait and see.

Fixed much of the lag on pc by the end of the beta.. pretty quick by my standards..

For me this COD8 vs BF11 is moot, because my multiplayer FPS fix came out in 2007.
