So when's The Devil's Playhouse coming to XBLA? I already have Save the World and Beyond Time and Space on there, would be nice to have the lot.

Also, Hit the Road Special Edition, à la Monkey Island and LeChuck's Revenge please!

Dammit why aren't these Sam & Max titles or BTTF coming out on Xbox? I need more easy achievements! (and I love adventure games!)

@whylekat

I think that, a while back, they said they were having trouble with Microsoft certification.

Also, until the Season Pass stuff started happening, Microsoft didn't have a way to support Telltale's business model. There was no way for someone to just pay up front, and get the rest of the content for free. This resulted in either each game being sold separately, like the Wallace and Gromit games, or as one big huge game with only 12 achievements, like the Sam and Max games.

In other words, coming to Europe in 2012!

Im going to wait for a Blu-ray bundle with all 3 series, i have a feeling we will see that. They just did it for Monkey Island.

I will wait until it is free for PSN Plus subs. I am still not happy about pre-ordering the first set to get the $5 off only to have them sell it for half off right after it was released.

I am going to wait until Telltale finally releases a Special Edition version of all sixteen episodes that finally replaces David Nowlin's bland, emotionless, robotic Sam voice and William Kasten's grating, eardrum-bleeding, annoying Max voice with the original voices from Sam and Max Hit the Road, aka Bill Farmer and Nick Jameson. If Telltale actually cared about Sam and Max fans as much as they say they do, they'd do this. I mean, we've gotten Original Homestar, Original Strong Bad, Original Guybrush, Original Elaine, Original LeChuck, Original Doc Brown, and Original Jennifer (with a cameo appearance by Original Marty)... why not Original Sam or Original Max? It's been six years, Telltale! Are you THAT out of touch with fans of the original voices?

So this is Season 2, right? I played the first on 360, and the third on PS3, so I guess this is all I still need.

@garnsr

with the plus that, after playing season 2, you'll actually understand what happened at the end of season 3.

I never played a Sam & Max game until they gave The Devil's Playhouse away for free to PS+ members and I really liked it. I might wait and see if they do something similar with this one. I'd like to play it, but I'd also be kicking myself if I spend $20 on it now and have it be free a couple months later.

While the Devil's Playhouse was GREAT, this one is, imho, much much better, really loved it a few years ago :D
