I hate to say it, but I kind of agree. Despite major coverage on game sites, the 100,000 Strong for Mega Man Legends 3 group has been slightly less than 50,000 strong for a while now. It doesn't seem like the game had as much overwhelming support as the fans thought it did.

I feel for you, guys. I really do. But it's probably not coming back.

Well it keeps getting and losing members. If you watch it'll be ar like 45k then drop down to 41k then pick back up with new members to 44k. Along with many people don't join facebook groups or sign petitions of these type.

Legends fanboys voting you down but you're right. The game is dead, people need to deal with it. Crapcom isn't going to revive it, especially not after Inafune just trashed them.

What's so wrong with people gathering around a common interest? Whether or not the game comes back (I know it won't), at least we have an outlet for our frustration for / adoration of the series. That's hardly a waste of time.

Sorry but MegaMan Zero and ZX are not spin offs they are the stories after MegaMan X and MegaMan X as we all know is the story after MegaMan. So in order it goes MegaMan -> MegaMan X -> MegaMan -> MegaMan Zero and lastly MegaMan ZX.

The only MegaMan Spin offs that I know of Is Megaman Battle Network up to starforce and MegaMan Legends. There are no others.

ok so gameplay then wouldnt the spinoffs still be MegaMan Battlenetwork series and MegaMan Legends cause how they have different gameplay but still share the MegaMan title or am i completely off?

It's a slippery slope. Some fans are "Classic" purists who only care about the original "Mega Man VS. Dr. Wily" games and/or Mega Man games that are 8-bit. In their minds, anything that is not 8-bit and/or features "Mega Man VS. Dr. Wily" is a spinoff. While they're technically correct, they still sound like pretentious d-bags, insisting that the Mega Man formula should never improve and should forever stay as graphic-swapped versions of Mega Man 2 because those kinds of Mega Man games are the only Mega Man games that matter.

While the other series are technically spinoffs, the fact that most of them retain the core gameplay elements is their unifying link. Each series in the Robotics Timeline changes up the style of gameplay just enough to be recognizable as their own unique offerings. Whether each offering is "good" or not is entirely up to personal interpretation, and should NEVER be presented as immovable "fact".

Oh, and Legends does exist within the same timeline as Classic/X/Zero/ZX. It's farther in the future than the others. The only two "spinoff" series that do not belong in the same continuity are Battle Network and Starforce, which belong to the Network Timeline.
