Pre-purchase L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition on Steam or OnLive for 10% off

Though L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition is set to launch on Steam and OnLive next month, plunking down the cash now will net you a price break. A pre-purchase will save you 10% off the final asking price, bringing it down to $44.99. L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition comes packed with all of the game's DLC.
Seems like an open-and-shut case for us, though you may wish to investigate other leads -- up to you, detective!

This is very true, and I almost snapped it up at Amazon, until I realized that OnLive has the better deal - here's why. Not only is it $44.99 as mentioned in the Joystiq article (above), but you also get a $10 credit off your next purchase.
But that's only the beginning, the OnLive deal gets even sweeter than that. Read on . . .
If you are one of OnLive's PlayPack subscribers, then the pre0order of LA Noire drops further to only $31.49 . . . and you still get the $10 credit off your next game.
That's the deal I'm taking advantage off. I'll be using the $10 pre-order credit towards Assassin's Creed: Revelations when it comes up.
That's basically getting both games for only $26.49 each. Which works out to 35% less than what even Amazon is charging.
It's really hard to beat deals like that. Factor in not having to pay tax or shipping, or for that matter having to wait beyond midnight on the release date to play it. It really is a good deal.
