Yes it is. Just like Pokemon Snap, Pokemon Dash, Pokemon Stadium, Hey You Pikachu, Pokemon Channel... You get the drift. Pretty much any pokemon NOT the core series or Colosseum / Gale of Darkness is generally a fluff game experience covered with Pokemon. I have think whenever they have an interesting concept without any depth they just drop pokemon textures on the models and call it a day.

I love me some pokemon, but Rumble looks like a big cash-out on gimmick.

lol at calling Stadium and Stadium 2 garbage, fluff experiences, while putting Colosseum and XD on a pedestal. Those games were a travesty, I'd rather play Battle Revolution.

Not being sarcastic but I am excited for Heavy Fire: Afghanistan - The Chosen Few it's a budget title for the move. I am not naive I know what to expect overall quality wise still think it will be fun to play two player. Also excited for The Cursed Crusade. I would play BF3 online but don't want to find myself wrapped up 4 hour late night sessions blowing peoples heads off.

Looks like I'll be throwing down some dollaz on PSN this week with Infamous and Pixeljunk games. While I'm extremely tempted to pickup BF3, I know better than to grab multiplayer DICE games at launch. See you folks at the first patch.
