This looks like a lot of fun. I wish it was for PC since my PSN account is still tied to my dad back when I first created it...

And then the video game industry called and said "STOP MAKING GAMES THAT LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME AS ONE AND NO, ADDING A GIMMICK TO IT DOESN'T AUTOMATICALLY MAKE IT ORIGINAL".

It looks like a nice little gimmick, but the visuals are nothing noteworthy and the plot is apparently 'avenge dead family', 'cause THAT'S original. Also, the guns don't really have any sense of weight behind them. Sure, enemies gush blood, but that almost seems juvenile at this point. Maybe they'll touch up some effects before release.

I might rent it, but honestly, I don't expect anything from it.

@Raddigan I played this at Eurogamer Expo. It was right next to GoW3 as well. Plus it played a little like it too. My main issue with the game was it being, not only like Gears but with gravity manipulation, but the graphics are not up to parr with Today's titles. 3 - 5 years ago? Yes. Now? No!

Weren't a bad play through. Like Darkvoid...Nice idea but...

@deadite I was just thinking that! Second Sight too! We got two great psychic power games and then they just threw them in Mass Effect and sucked out all the fun.

Thinking about it... does all of this make it hard for the enemies? Or is it really just going to be hard for you?

Building an entire game around a gravity gimick is probably not a good idea. I can't remember another game based around a single gimick that was really fun to play.

I suppose that last game hyped on a gimick was Max Payne with the bullet time stuff, but that had an actual story to back it up. hmm..

This one might be a rental with a little luck, but its a crowded couple of months. Flipping gravity will not get a game into my lineup when compared to Skyrim, Batman, U3, MW3, NHL12, or the upcoming Soul Calubur 5.

Hm. It's like Raven Software's Singularly, yet it uses gravity powers instead of time manipulation/mutation powers. I hope it comes out as PC version as well. I'll decide once the reviews are available or a demo version to try out.

Whoa, tottaly digged the 30 year old bland white character with beard and shaved hair, the fat lunatic and the destroyed metropolis. Also the mechanics of cover and shooting. But the inversion look tottaly a gimmick.

Seriously though, Gravity Rush (Daze) for Vita uses a similar concept and it's waaaaaay more interesting.

I gotta be honest. For a game all about gravity manipulation, and walking on walls and stuff, it actually looks really linear. Which is disappointing.

What I'm expecting is something similar to Dark Void. And decent game that just wasn't polished as much as it should have been.

I'm getting pretty sick of buzz cut guy. It seems like he's been the protagonist of every shooter for the last ten years. How about a character design I'm going to actually remember?

i played this at SDCC... it was decent... it really felt like a rip off of a few different games (not enough to make it feel unique though)

Gears meets Red Faction meets inFamous meets the zero G from Dead Space...
