Atlus's pre-order bonus for The King of Fighters XIII is the only freebie soundtrack in recent memory to be worth its own trailer. The massive four-disc "The King of Soundtracks 94-XIII" is definitely worth the honor, containing over 100 tracks from 13 games.

I like the Arranged Soundtracks. The SNK Band was awesome at recreating the game music into real instruments. For example....

I guess I need to pre-order it now. No way I'm passing up on some of the best BGMs to ever grace videogaming.

As soon as I heard about the soundtrack cds packed in w/pre-orders I made mine official. Can't wait to play the game and listen to the music in the background....which will be disorienting, but twice as bad ass.

I've never played a KoF game, but since the announcement of XIII a while back I looked up some gameplay vids of previous games and it looked like a lot of fun. But which one do you guys think I should start out with?

@SonyPS
If you haven't played *any* KOF game, I personally would recommend KOF'98 or possibly the recent KOF-i(iOS/mobile phone)game before going into the PS2 "MAXIMUM IMPACT" titles. It's a very fun series with a surprisingly intriguing storyline/history for its characters. If you have time to spare, I would just skim through the SNK wikia and buy KOF XIII directly. The series has always been easy to pick-up & play without being too overwhelmed by tech combos/guard tactics.
