No, you're not.

This is a really fun game, but I don't know how well this will translate. The best part about games like this is getting all your friends together, ya know, in the same room, and having a great time eating, drinking, and laughing. Or am I just too old and this is the way things are now; playing board or card games with virtual boards and cards over the internet. The future is depressing. I must be old because I just had a mini-rant about things 'these days'.

I can't stand this game. Maybe my aunt makes us play with the wrong rules, but there is almost no creativity involved at all. You either get dealt funny cards or you don't, and even if you know the person super well, if you don't have any card that meets the occasion, you're S-O-L.

@King Johngie the Fourth

Close your eyes everyone!

How can this game be played at 4? don';t you usually need closer to 8 people to make the game interesting?

@Draco

no, i've played with 4 before. to make it more interesting, turn it into a drinking game. i promise by the 4th or 5th game, it'll get a lot weirder.

Hahaha exactly what I was thinking. And I play with 4 people regularly. It's tons of fun.

Yay! Now I can play with people who understand me instead of feeling the pain of being shunned by my family and/or friends!

As fun as this game is, this is no digital game. I don't see this working.

I have however devised interesting ways to play this game. One of these is Apple Poker. I recommend dealing from a large blackjack shoe on a poker table.

* Bet on your hand of red cards
* Bet on the green descriptor card
* Optionally do a draw phase and bet after that

Apples to Apples is a great game, but I really don't see it being fun with random people you don't know and can't see. It's a social game. Local multiplayer could be fun, but I have no idea how it could keep your cards hidden.

@Dizazter
But the idea of having a virtually unlimited number of nouns and adjectives, and not have to deal with shuffling tons of cards is appealing.

Can't work as a video game, at least not in the way I play it. No one takes the categories seriously, so half of the fun is working off of each other's humor and playing the cards that appeal to it.

I just can't see my aces in the hole working here (Eleanor Roosevelt, Angry Hornets, and of course, Festering Wound).

The only way the online will be fun would be with friends... who you most likely can play the analogue game with. Nutsy Bolts is already on PC and it's the same thing(you can also add your own nouns) which is fun when skyping with out of state/country friends.

No thanks, I prefer the board game.
Mostly because we changed a lot of the cards to things like "bear with a beartrap mouth" and "dick punching".

When a game like Apples to Apples comes to PlayStation, Xbox and mobile devices without a single mention of Nintendo. Theirs something wrong with Nintendo
