Their recent update totally wiped out all the coins and jetpacks and costumes for a lot of people. It wiped out mine.
They're probably setting it to free to help counteract the volume of one-star ratings they've been getting for demolishing weeks of progress.
When you sell in-game currency for real money, then turn around and delete all that in-game currency with no explanation or customer service recourse, you're a bad company.
Try the game out for free (it's good), but under no circumstances give them money for in-game coins ... there's a good chance they'll just wipe them out in a future update.

Ya when I saw it was halfbrick I figured theres some hope. A lot of times if I ask developers if their game will come to android in the future the reason is no developers on their team do android.

I just downloaded this about a week ago and I love it. The update added some funny, new costumes, jetpacks, and what not. Good stuff.
