really why would you want karaoke in a racing game?

@sconfoy1 Guess I'm the only one ready to buy this now that I know there's karaoke mode to this awesome soundtrack.

Worst video ever. NOT funny at all. Why'd Joystiq waste our time with this nonsense? It's HALLOWEEN today, not National Karaoke Day. Rubbish! Bollocks!

Forza and GT really need to take page from Daytona's book an add their own Karaoke mode.
That was seriously awesome.
Still that game should be five bucks and not ten.

When this game first launched nearly 20 years ago, it was one of the best racers around, despite how simple it was.
I'm glad that kids today get to enjoy what we had back then.
And the soundtrack was one of the selling points too. Sure it sounds silly to hear now, but think about it, just a few months before that the Sega Genesis and SNES were the industry standard in terms of sound.
Also, the sound designer went on to to do nearly every Sega AM2 title, as well as Shenmue.

This made me want a racing game where a good singing traduces in good driving and bad singing will get you last place or burnt car.

I'll always remember this song because one of my teammates on my hockey team thought they were singing "LAY IT ON THE LINE!!!"
Our local rink had a 4 person Daytona setup, and we'd always play before our games.
So whenever we're playing video games, I'll always sing "LAY IT ON THE LINE" to the tune of "DAAYYY TOOO NAAAA!""
