I can't grow a mustache, but I can grow extremely goofy yet thin chin and neck hair, does that count?

...c-can I just draw one on?

@Dubiousity

Taking advantage of being first post on an article sure to get a good amount of views, can anyone tell my why my profile picture refuses to change? I've tried at least 10 times and it 's not working.

@Dubiousity

Try a different browser. I've had success with Firefox.

If that doesn't work try changing it on one of the sub-sites, like Massively.

But...what if you already have a goatee? Keep it? Restart?

@Korbie You have to restart rules are clear you start November 1st with a clean shave. I know it's a bit more challenging for some (a month in I look like a raging hobo if I don't shave.)

I would, but there's this transition phase after a couple days that makes me look like a homeless person

@Fugaku

Don't grow a beard. That way you'll only look like a hipster or Daniel Day-Lewis character.

This is wonderful! I think Movember is a great and important fundraiser/awareness-raiser and I'm glad to see it getting bigger and better each year!

@Rocket Raccoon

I wouldn't shave if I were you, I'm certain a bald raccoon would look very strange.

Year three for me, the Movember Mini has been driving around my neighbourhood for weeks. The question is what form this year, I'm trying to start a work team if that doesn't work out I'll join the Joystiq team but I've grown two 80s and a Magnum, this year I'm thinking maybe a Cowboy or a Hipster, I'm even fielding the potential of a John Waters/Creep moustach. Decisions decisions, I've got a month though will start with the beard and let that grow in to give me time and options.

Hmmm, I haven't shaved my beard off in about 7 years now. Maybe it's time to clean up and grow out a new face-look. I've been thinking about going for a Selleck for awhile.

someone isn't up on their beard growing time - winter beards start growing sometime IN october - this way by the time it is cold, your face is fully protected. any grower of beards knows this if they live in cold environs during the winter months.... Mine is already full and gaining length each day - not going back to square one, I have a target and by golly....I'm meeting it!

not trimming until 2012!!!

It's been a while since any L.A.Noire news...
I hope it wasn't just a fad.

The chairman of Beyond Blue and the man behind Movember, Jeff Kennett, is renowned for making homophobic comments. This is despite the suicide rate amongst young gay people being the highest of any demographic, and his organisation's purported goal of helping those with depression. Don't give your support to this organisation. Consider Fauxvember instead, or one of the many other charities who don't discriminate against one of the most at-risk groups in our communities.

'Bout time, growing facial hair is a part of your badge of manhood. I want to know who was the moron who said no facial hair. Probably some boy-lovin greek or roman from back in the day.
