Perfect game for Wii.

I predict that version will have the most sales. No HD and all.

The artwork looks incredible! Definitely gonna pick this up as soon as I can earn the money for it, wallet is looking a bit light after BF3, Batman, and Skyrim.

If it's this good on the consoles, I'll hold off for the VITA version then - to pad my library of games for that. :]

According to Wikipedia, yes. Not sure how much truth is in that, but there have been other RAYMAN game as launch/initial titles in the past...

I am getting this for the 360, but I am hoping the 3DS version is amazing. I want to get it too to see how the 3DS is with this artwork.

It's been getting pretty good games, didn't see this coming! I always loved the Rayman games on the PSOne. Unfortunately I don't see this selling too well, what with the recent release of MW3, Skyrim tomorrow, and Revelations as well. They should have saved this for closer to christmas time!

Really hoping this game sells well via word of mouth because it's being sent out to die unless they market it on Cartoon Network or something.

Now that you mention it, I think I've only seen a RAYMAN game's commercial maybe once or twice. Hell, even the RABBIDs got more attention than him.

I was waiting this weekend to get Skyrim, but after reading this I'm totally going to buy Rayman instead.

This is the kind of game that I totally appreciate as a gamer longing for the awesome days of yore. Simple, funny, crazy and totally mind blowing games like this one brings my the faith back in the gaming world. And yes, Rayman 2 was a jewel.

When I was little, my Nintendo 64 controllers had a broken joystick.
Today, it's dusty and creaky. I imagine it may be quite hard to play Rayman 2.

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED.

Honestly, I haven't felt some serious "FUN" in video games since...ehh Kirby Mass Attack. (recent, but the last game before this was Final Fantasy 12 in '06 so imagine) Commanding a menacing squadron of short, fat, and pink fellows really made me giggle.

Games like these end up being the most for me with friends. While I enjoy my Halo, CoD, and BF with some friends, coop platformers are always REALLY fun. Crimson Alliance, although short, was another game I really loved playing with my friends.

Grabbed an early copy from a mom and pop shop here in NYC last night and played it pretty much 8 hours straight. What a true gem of a game. Also happy to note that it seems like it's not super short as I still have a ton of areas to explore. (Also of note: played 2 of those hours with my wife and we had a blast...great for solo or multi).

Getting this and chasing it with Saints Row 3. Throw in SR3 when it's too much cute, Rayman when shooting strippers into a wall gets stale.

I wouldn't normally buy this game for PS3, but I'm thinking this would be the perfect game to get for the Vita to play while out somewhere or on a car ride. I'll probably pick this game up in February.

I said the same thing to myself before I played the demo. While the Vita's screen is excellent its also a lot smaller than a TV. I'm holding out on hope there will be many PS3-Vita combo games so I can play whenever and whereever I want for a single price tag.

I was really looking forward to this until I played the demo on the 360. While it looked amazing, the controls felt sloppy, making the game harder than it should be. It was also rather boring. (I turned it off halfway through the shooting level.)

I enjoyed Escape Goat way more than this.

And also combined with all the non-platformers which are out right now, it's a bloody fantastic time to be a gamer

I know Rayman 2 is many people's favorite (and it's definitely a great game), but my favorite has always been the original. I'm so glad they've gone back to their original formula after dragging the series through the mud with all that Rabbids crap. Classic 2D Rayman where Rayman himself is the focus is exactly what I've wanted for years.
