I'd rather have a boxuer game set in the 1800s:

Manly men with mustaches to match fighting in gentlemenly ways.

"Take this upper cut, you cad!"
"Good show, olde bean!"

@kvn7918 You'd need to edit both posts. It's called dubstep, not dub set.

@kvn7918 I just don't understand why they thought dubstep would be a good choice for a game set in the 30s.

A Jack the ripper game? I'm interested to see how that turns out. If it's realistic it would have to be all story since only like 4 or 5 people were killed

Wait.

A game set in Victorian England... with a multiplayer component in the 1930s?

I suppose it would make some sense since the 1930s are more explodely then the late 19th century London streets, so EA could stuff multiplayer and hence an online pass in.. but that really seems like such an odd combination. I'll assume that part of the rumor is false, for the sake of my own sanity.

Looked pretty bad in my opinion. I feel like developers are trying to reinvent the wheel too much rather than refining and tweaking old concepts. If we keep on this path, there's going to be a huge drought in creativity.

@Dionkey

You just contradicted yourself within the matter of a sentence.

You wish people wouldn't be so creative and try new things, otherwise there's not going to be enough creativity....

My head hurts.

@MystileArmor Ever heard of too much variety? There will be no original ideas left and nothing new if we keep doing this.

@Dionkey

There won't be anything new if we...don't stop doing new things?

You make no sense.

@TheChezDispenser Ugh, once again, too much variety will cause oversaturation. Eventually, people will be so obsessed with the idea of trying something new that they will just start combining concepts that do not fit. We've seen it before and it seems to be happening more and more recently. We should settle down and take our time with ideas, not every game needs to spawn a new following.

Stop having ideas so we don't run out of ideas!

Also, that song is awesome, dubstep or no.

NEW RULE:
If your video takes place in the future or in a metallic world where distorted electronic music matches the environment -- you can use dubstep!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlPEGsExw0o

If it takes place in a time or place where ELECTRICITY DOES NOT YET EXIST OR IS A NEW INVENTION -- YOU MAY NOT USE DUBSTEP.

For as much as we lament "______ was canceled by ______" stories, these are signs of the industry maturing and publishers getting a better sense for what is coming together well and what will be a gigantic disappointment. When you consider the sheer quantity of polished, well realized and unique experiences coming out every month, kudos to all involved for repurposing the resources to other projects before releasing a subpar game.

Also, the lab just called. The world's worst song has been found.

If it was atleast 8v8, it could have been fun.
Granted if they didn't botch it like DS2's multiplayer where you couldn't do private games or customise anything beyond your human characters looks/what weapons you start with.
