@The Aquacharger
Well considering 12 were known about for a while (preorder bonuses), it's safe to say they had some thought up for all the characters, as well as the 6 from the previous game

Gotta admit Capcom are really treating the MM fans horribly. This is the biggest troll move. Why create an actual model for X and then make it DLC costume for Zero? They could of done a moveset for X and made him his own character.

If only people had some damn integrity. Capcom have been taking a long dump on their fans for years now. What do the fans do? They buy every new Super Ultra Turbo Edition, Now With More Day One DLC!. The fans complain and complain about Capcom, yet the idiots still buy their games.

As much as I want Rayman Origins, I won't be buying it. Why? Because I have any amount of integrity and Ubisoft have been a major contender for the position of biggest asshat in the gaming industry for a long time now. And it would only be a good thing if Ancel left and started his own studio.

Stop buying their games if they keep treating you like crap, you morons.

They've burned me one time too many already, although I do love the MvC series, or better yet ALL of their fighting games, Megaman, and Devil May Cry. They have successfully SCREWED ME in all of these franchises this gen. With each first release of their fighting games, Capcom has said that they would release a base version and add dlc, yet we have Super and Arcade Edition for Street Fighter 4 (although Arcade is dlc too) and Ultimate MvC (which they have NEVER done for the vs. series). On Megaman, they've cancelled my most anticipated game from them for the last 10 years (as Rpgs are my favorite genre) that had a Lot of heart and soul. Finally with Devil May Cry, they've changed their stance on the new game so much that they dont even know what it is they want to do with the game or seemingly series.

tltr: Capcom to me equals :(

Marvel Super Heroes came out 10 months after Children of the Atom
Marvel Vs. Capcom came out 7 months after MSH vs. Street Fighter

It's not accurate to say that the vs. series has never done this, it's just that MvC2 never saw a (arguably warranted) rebalance.

@Acosta02 Yeah But each one of those played different, Marvel Super Heroes had Different Characters than Children of the Atom and had a Jewel system of powerups. Marvel Super Heroes vs. Streetfighter had a different cast than vs. Capcom and in my opinion played more fluidly than any of the vs. Capcom series. Capcom also introduced a new mechanic in the four player special moves where you could use everybody on the screen. Saying those games are just balance revisions of each other is like saying that Street Fighter Alpha is like SF II and SF EX.

Ya, Capcom is really slapping their fans in the face with this one. Honestly it seems to me like it is Capcom's goal to zap any sort of integrity out of the Marvel name by pitting these valuable comic properties against Capcom's arsenal of most ridiculous and lame excuses for character ideas. Marvel has done a great job grounding their comic properties in some sort of basis of reality while Capcom has Frank West pushing shopping carts around and Phoenix wright throwing desks at you. Don't even get me started on Rocket Raccoon!
This megaman DLC stunt is no surprise they did the same thing when they announced the "Ken DLC" costume for RYU. What's next Capcom, a Gambit DLC for Wesker?
Meh, it doesn't matter anyhow, this game was dead to me the moment I realized players can bounce their opponents back into repeat combos. I rarely get a single move pulled off before I'm sucked into an "endless combo." I guess I should have realized then that Capcom wasn't taking MVC3 seriously so neither should we.

@AbsolutWill
There's no Ken DLC costume for Ryu, it's one of his alternate colors. Ryu's DLC is his classic look from Street Fighter 1

@AbsolutWill
Rocket Raccoon is marvel.
Holy shit would people seriously learn to formulate a coherent argument before they start spouting inane bullshit?
It makes the people who actually have legit points look bad.
