not sure but this seems like worse bundle. You would think they offer part 1 and 2 in 3d. I rather have games instead of the movies.

Yeah offering part two of the final installment of a series as an official bundle is rather lame. I could see this if it was a retailer offering the DVD as a bonus with purchase of the PS3, just not something that gets its own SKU.

Also agree it would have made much more sense to bundle a game.

@Scuffles

But this bundle is actually a very good deal. What you rather do, pay $250 for this bundle or pay the same $250 for the 160GB standalone system?

*The black friday deal doesn't count.

Bundlus Magnificus!

Seems odd that they wouldn't put both parts 1 and 2 in the bundle, or give you a download code for part 1 instead of the first two Harry Potter movies.

I am sure they are saving that for Holiday 2012.

And Holiday 2013 will have the Complete Box Set Remastered Collectors Edition with 5 extra discs of worthless content.

Smart to bundle the movie and not the game. Because hey, did you play that game? Yeesh.

So tragic that Warner Bros. is playing copy-cat with Disney's methods.

So Warner Bros. is now forced to reprinting Harry Potter and mining DC Comics for their money now. Boring.

Maybe we'll even see remakes before I hit retirement age! Neat!

Translation: Every 3 years WB will be releasing a remastered ultimate collectors platinum edition of the HP box set ...... then 6months later will pull that box set from the market and lock it away in the safe-deposit box they are renting in the Disney vault.

They should offer LEGO Harry Potter Games, those are way better than the HP Games this gen.

Traveler's Tales, not TellTale.

WB is actually behind the LEGO games, seeing as they both publish and own TTGames. The movie games are from EA.

I seen Part 2 in 3D and theres about 2-3 3D scenes no kidding! Pretty much the whole movie is in 2D. If 3D is the selling point for you dont bother. It was an alright film though.

Why wouldn't they skin the PS3 itself? The FFXIII PS3 was sooooo awesome.

@Chiren Because those kinds of things are only released in Japan and Asian territories. We got the rather boring 40GB MGS4 console in extremely limited quantities exclusively from Konami's store. That's as good as we'll likely ever get.

If you don't want the "worthless content," you can buy the entire set now on Blu ray for $80 on Amazon.

Also: "Hard-core Potter fans will be pleased to know that 2011 is not the end of the Harry Potter film franchise on DVD and Blu-ray. Warner Home Video plans to release a comprehensive Harry Potter film collection, with even more extras and collectible premiums in 2012. More details about the collection will be available at a later date."

Sony really doesnt have any idea what American shoppers want. Bundling a movie was a good idea early on with Spidey 3 but this is just pointless. I'm sure these will be in the clearance section in no time.
