What's that? You still haven't experienced the boundless joy of mashing-up already hazardous incantations? That's inexcusable, but you'll be rewarded for your oversight: Steam has Magicka discounted for $2.50, and is letting users play it for free for most of the weekend!

I'll play with you if we're ever on at the same time (currently in Hawaii time zone) though I'm not great at it. Got stuck around the end of chapter 5 I think and haven't played in a while. Steam ID is birdizzle

Wish the individual packs were discounted as well as the collection since I own half the stuff in it already and just want the extra robes. Going miss this 75c D:!
Still, hopefully this means I will be able to find a decent game this weekend. Usually the only open game is just griefing (or more than intended).

Should one get the collection with the DLC, or just the stock Magicka? Wondering if the DLC and such is worth the extra money.

Wait, so you have to buy it and then...pay to continue playing it? Isn't this just an action rpg with multiplayer abilities? Not like some MMO...?

@pluupy
No you can play it without buying it over the weekend.

Question: I just have the basic Magicka, if I buy the whole Collection, do I get a second copy of Magicka that I could -lets say: give to a friend??
Posted: Nov 18th 2011 7:19AM birdizzle87 said
@Da Mr
Why don't you just gift it? Do you mean, buy the bundle for yourself for the DLC and gift just the basic game to someone? I don't think it works like that. You'd have to gift the whole bundle when you purchase it.

@Da Mr I think you may be able to gift it still. I only say this because when the orange pack went on sale, I already owned HL2 on my PC. After downloading everything, it gave me the option to give the other HL code to a friend and I did.

I might have to finally try this.
The reviews I've heard from people who have actually tried the game tend to be a lot different than the reviews from the critics, so I've hesitated on pulling the trigger.

It's a fun game! Just so you know, it's a comedic approach and not too serious but still fun!

Is this game as Isometric RPG or something? Sorry never heard of it and I have a very slow internet connection so I don't download anything on PC unless I'm sure I want it (took me over 24 hours to download DC Universe.)

I wish this would come to XBLA with same-screen co-op, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Why don't you want my money?
