Awesome! I though KZ3 was an improvement over KZ2, def a underated FPS shooter.

I'm with Castiel. KZ2 was much better. They could have improved upon it without giving up its unique feel. They didn't, and the only thing they did to spruce up the campaign was throw in even more some 'cinematic' set pieces.

Not bad, but I don't think I want to play Killzone 4 now.

Third Vote for Killzone 2 > Killzone 3.

@Oddgirl i have to agree with these two. the guns had more feeling to them compared to killzone 3 + the server lists and consistent max/min. players without the map restricted limit was just all better.

@Castiel agreed kz2 >kz3
I've put over 250 hours in killzone 2. I put 20 hours into Killzone 3 and I couldn't take it anymore so I sold it (and I never sell games so that's saying something)

Right "now" I don't want to play Killzone 4, I'm not going to write off the future.

@Castiel I liked both Killzone 2 and 3. Both games were really great. Although short, the campaign of the third game was awesome and very entertaining. And I think the story was much more interesting this time around. The feel of the weapons was lost, which I didn't mind so much at the time but as I've thought about it I really do miss the weighty feel of Killzone 2. It made it much more challenging and rewarding to get a kill, especially from a long distance. With Killzone 4 I hope they bring back a more weighty feel or at least have an option for it.

@Lucky48

Well, that's sometimes the problem with changing your game based on what the "community" wants. The people who don't like something are always going to be more vocal than the people who do like something. So, instead of keeping their unique game, they listened to the whiners who want every shooter to be like COD.

The people who complain about how KZ3 changed the formula were the people who were happy with KZ2.

I'm gonna be That Guy and throw in the thought that Killzone sucks compared to Halo, and Sony has yet to cone up with an exclusive first person shooter that compares in awesomeness to Halo.

Argument activate.

@rambo8 I don't think "underrated" is the right word for Killzone 2. You have to remember that Killzone 2 was hyped up to insane degrees. It was said to be the most realistic shooter ever, the best shooter ever, and the game that would make the PS3 the best selling console of this generation, if not ever. No game, no matter how good, could possibly live up to the hype Killzone 2 got.

I sold my PS3 so I didn't get to play KZ3 but KZ2 was solid. I found that there was nothing memorable about it. SP or MP.

Killzone 2 was definitely 'out there' and was pretty good. KZ3 was definitely a step down.

Same with the God of War team.

@kentuckyfried It was better MP wise to. It was just an all around better game. It didn't try to be more than what it was, which was a dark/gritty FPS. Then they went and softened it up in the third installment and it was terrible.

For the love of all that is good, I hope Guerilla hires some writers this time around.

They have almost all the elements except an interesting story.

Well, this was obvious. The ending to Killzone 3 was sequel-teasy as hell.

Plus, I really hope they fix the issues most people have with Killzone 3; I liked the campaign, but it was not as good or fun KZ2, and the multiplayer was boring compared to that game, too (nothing like a new game with far fewer options that its predecessor).

@Nobledevil Gaming Optimist exactly. I loved the way Killzone 2 had all the matches laid out. You just went to one that you prefered and were good to go. In Killzone 3 it was a pain in the ass to get in a match with more than 2 people unless you had all the DLC's. Which is stupid.

HELL YES! im not an FPS fan at all... but KZ2 and KZ3 are in my top favorite games this gen. Disagree all you want.. but im among the people who loved the series for its art direction and overall quality in animation and gameplay (i loved the weighty fell of both games)

I only spend time to platinum games i love... Uncharted 1,2 and 3, Fallout 3, Borderlands, and Killzone 3 (killzone 2 was way too much work for MP trophies and i got frustrated)

Great! But this time please add the swapable secondary abilities with each class online, which was stupidly removed from killzone 3! Other than that i'm sure it will be good, especially always with the continuous and ongoing support.

They dont know what they had with killzone 2. It was a fluke. KZ3 was good but it lost its personality and felt unpolished in alot of places with several good ideas that wernt used well.

KZ should be a much better series. The ISA should lose too. The end of 3 was stupid.
