Outland is fantastic, as is Clash of Heroes HD though I wouldn't recommend that to everyone - definitely play the demo if it's still up.

If you like twin stick shooters, Gatling Gears is definitely one of the better ones.

Outland is like a sidescrolling action platformer version of Ikaruga. That's a good thing

Clash of Heroes is fantastic, in a strategy/chess kind of way. I paid $15 for it and got more enjoyment from it than many a $60 game.

Fancy Pants Adventures started out as a flash game so you can look that up to get a longer taste for the game style than the demo allows.

Also I second Outland, the gameplay and art style are both fantastic.

Ape Escape may be on rails, but it is definitely an enjoyable experience with the move if you have one, especially at that price.

Silly Americans - Thanksgiving already happened in October, eh! :P

As for this sale, it sounds pretty awesome. Anyone who hasn't picked up - er, downloaded - Section 8: Prejudice or Outland, I highly recommend 'em, especially the latter.

Outland is cool, give that one a try. I was waiting for clash of heroes to go on sale and it seems like holding off impulse buying paid off.

Yes I will pay $7.50 for Limbo.
I swear this PS+ has basically paid for itself (for me at least).

@ChaosBladez

Question: If you buy a game that is discounted via PS+, such as Limbo, and you do not renew PS+, you get to keep the game right? Or do you have to pay the couple more dollars that the sale knocked off to keep it?

I am asking this because I know that the free games they release for PS+ members do not get to be kept if you do not have PS+.

There are a few other games on XBL and PSN that I'm hoping will see a sale sometime this weekend or in december.

But this is a pretty good selection. I have a couple of them.

The real shame is that neither XBLA or PSN have gifting methods yet, and seeing as they both ditched Amazon, there's no reliable third party method save for buying code cards at a shop.

I own everything here as well, but I'd love to gift some to people!

Tired to become a Playstation Plus subscriber during one of their sales offering a bonus 3 months if you subscribe for a year. For whatever reason, it wouldn't work (I could download and purchase other items, just not Playstation Plus). Took my problem to customer service and they gave me absolutely no support at all. I was appalled at the lack of support I received.

Obviously, this is an isolated incident - but still one that left a very sour taste in my mouth.

My point is, I should be a Playstation Plus member, and therefore receiving the larger discounts - but due to incompetence on their end - I miss out. So, in turn, they miss out, but not getting any money from me for any of these "deals".

(Venting complete - fingers crossed some monkey from Sony reads this and goes out of their way to help a disgruntled customer.)

LOL, and that should be "tried to be a Playstation Plus member" not "tired"... stupid language with so many similarly spelled words :)

@Axcalibur i doubt it's gonna happen. if they gave you crappy service over the phone i would have said HEY ! I'm a paying member of Playstation Plus I better get better service for being a loyal customer and if not i would tell them you would think of this service when the PS Plus service is due ( or is over on your account ) my friend did and it worked for him ( forget what the situation was ) but it was by over the phone service

Does limbo really cost that much i finished it in less then a hour and it being the same price as section 8 seems off.

On the flip side i will be picking outland this week then.

since this whole Privacy Police change last week. i won't be buying much or if at all. cause if it wasn't for the privacy policy change i would have went and bought

Dungeon Hunter Alliance
Outland
Fancy Pants Adventure
Limbo OR Might and Magic

but now that i only buy PSN games under certain circumstances i may buy Outland .... the other games will have too suffer from Sony's Policy

Yes you keep everything you pay for, discounted or not, when your subscription expires. If it is free, you lose it when your subscription expires.
