If there's one thing that Serious Sam needs, it's more story. Also, there's a gun that shoots enormous balls. So it's still totally Serious Sam.
Serious Sam 3: BFE has some semblance of a story

looks cool but It's steamworks ... so that auto relegates it into the same "*shrug* oh well" bin as the few 3DS games that also look cool.

@ItchyBarracuda
Is it really coming to Xbox and/or PS3? I can't find evidence of that anywhere, and will it be disc or download?

Serious Sam II was a step forward, I don't understand why it gets so much hate. This looks like two steps backwards.

@Oddgirl I fall in to the crowd of liking 2nd Encounter the best. I felt like 2 just took a step into overtly ridiculous land.
Like, the early games were funny, but there were also threatening creatures and monsters. The magic of SS for me has always been the combination of the serious with silly, but SS2 just felt like the silly. It became a caricature of its former self, which wasn't for me.
I'm not trying to change your opinion, of course, but hopefully that provides some understanding as to why so many of us feel the way we do. :)

This would've been game of the year - all years, had they not included reloading and sprinting

I'm a little dissapointed at how he drops f bombs and talks like a fourteen year old on xbox with the tea bagging. I still want this game, but I feel that the f bombs are unneeded and unattractive.
