"Grenades now drop to ground if you get killed while attempting to throw it"

I was in a 6v1 situation the other day and I only had 9 bullets left. While the enemies were shooting, I attempted to throw a grenade, only to remember that grenades magically disappear if you die while you're throwing it. Never again.

"Damage from bullets will now continue to cause damage even after the firing user is dead"

Does this mean it will be like BC2 where two people could kill each other at the same time? Too many times in BF3, I've left someone with a health that is >5% (Often 0 or 1 %!) when engaging in CQC. I hope those days are over.

@Mr Hett Both of those items you mentioned are my biggest concerns as far as gameplay goes. I can see the tracer fire on about 12 bullets between myself and the person whom kills me, but just like the disappearing grenades (i notice it with rpg and missile rounds as well), the enemy takes no damage from them.

In "real life" those bullets and frags don't disappear, so I am very happy to see these changes implemented.

There are tons of audio issues. They are random, but on my 7.1 surround system with a huge sub... They are much more than just noticeable. At times I get almost no audio for 5-7 minutes. Very annoying. Hopefully all the audio fixes they mentioned solve my specific problems.

I keep getting sniped by Shotguns...really don't know how??!!

After this updating it started happening. Also, tanks get nerfed??

I keep getting direct shots with the main cannon and all I get are hit markers.

Some of the shotgun rounds such as slugs and explosive rounds shoot a single shot instead of a spray.

Probably a stupid question but does that mode where one team attacks and one team defends 3 points in a order (might of been called rush but i cant remember) in this?

Because that was the only mode i really played in BF2 and i might be picking this up sometime in the near future.

The game type you're describing actually sounds more like Conquest Assault or whatever, which is basically just Conquest, except one team starts with all points capped and 50 less spawn tickets. That's getting added in the Back to Karkand DLC, I believe.

Just got this from Amazon's Black Friday sales. A little annoyed with the bugs surrounding squads. Hopefully, this patch will fix all of them. It's terrible trying to learn a game without some friends.

@SmokemeaKipper And what about the BSOD on PC, After the patch i was getting blue screens on every map change, then i read somewhere that Origin was causing the issue, so i had to disable Origin in games and everything worked just fine. They didn't fix the spawn system properly and the new squad system it's a mess.

@Traptz It's almost always this way. When a developer releases a patch to PC, PS3, and 360 at the same time, PC gets it instantly, PS3 is next, and 360 is last. Something to do with the MSFT certification/verification process of patches I believe.

Not a big fan of nerfing the AA Infantry weapons.

It is unfair for the helicopters to be taken down by one AA infantry unit, but the jets on the other hand, can't be taken down currently by one AA infantry unit.

I can get two consecutive lock-ons on a jet. The enemy jet will use flares on my first rocket, and if I'm lucky enough to get a second lock-on before the jet flys out of range, the enemy jet will just turn on the after burner until the flares recharge.

Now, even if I get lucky enough to get a hit on a jet, I won't disable the jet.

If they are going to decrease the damage of AA Infantry, rocket speed needs to be increased so that AA Infantry can at least land a hit consistently. That way, jets have to, at the very least, fly away for a while to recharge health.

@(Unverified) If the nerf it's exactly the same one than on PC (which i'm assumming it is) then the AA it's useless now, i can guarantee you that after the patch you won't be able to hit any air vehicles with flares unlocked, not even a freaking single hit.

Happy about the TDM spawns being fixed. Now just more polish please! Screen tearing is not crazy or anything but its there sometimes.

A big thing I wish they did would be to change both the US and UR soldier voices. Are they still going through puberty or WTF? This is where MW excels. I like all those little sound effects when I rank up or do something special. Also, when a match ends its basically dead. They couldnt add a little song up in there or somthing? lol
