We are now speaking directly, away from prying eyes. We feel obligated to mention that the title is currently £11.99 at Game and £17.51 at Amazon.uk for the PS3. We trust if you're savvy enough to figure out the PSN, you're surely slick enough to recognize the savings.

Do owners of PS3s with a SSD installed favor purchasing games off PSN due to the decreased loading times as compared to from disc? Or it doesn't matter that much?

Not true, some have install options that decrease loading times. Check youtube videos for Gran Turismo 5.

Yeah Sony REALLY needs to work on better pricing on the PSN. They have almost no overheard and they usually charge more than most retail places. I understand it gets dicey in dealing with retailers, obviously they will get upset if Sony direct prices are way better then all the stores, but at least be competitive!

This may be a shocker but...
Sony doesn't do the pricing of third party games
Guess who does?

Prior to Nov 18, PSN purchases for individuals that have multiple PS3s like myself its usually cheaper to purchase PSN over retail. I have three PS3's one in the Living room, the other two in my boys rooms. Thats 3 copies for the same price of 1.

Politics. Imagine if you owned a giant store and bought a million copies for $40 each and were trying to sell them for $50. Then right afterwards the Publisher started selling directly to the customer for $10. You'd be pretty pissed off wouldn't you?
