@wunwunx - That's true. It is. I'm considering picking it up for that price but that would clean out all of the Microsoft points that I have.

@Mcmax3000

I would wait, its almost guaranteed to go down 50% in 2 weeks or so for Christmas sales.

This isn't an XBL sale either, just Ubisoft.

@wunwunx Damn, tempted to pick it up. But I'm not sure if it will be 600MSP soon.

I was going to ask why Trenched wasn't on this list, then I took an arrow to the knee...

Didn't mean to do it twice though it wasn't working.

What a great year for XBLA. I still need to pick up a few of these but I can't break away from Skyrimand Revelations!

Instead of those Dreamcast games, pick up the Dreamcast Collection disc since it comes with Sonic Adventure, Crazy Taxi, Sega Bass Fishing and Space Channel 5 Part 2, and you can pick it up far cheaper than those four games combined as downloads.

Also considering where we are right now, don't buy ANY older XBLA games as there will be the Xmas sales soon.

Great guide that to an extent carries over to Steam, which has been having some ridiculous sales. Not everyone is into PC gaming, but Bastian is 75% off today and there have been similar deals for titles like From Dust, All Orcs Must Die and Dungeon Defenders.

I'd also add Super Meat Boy, Lara Croft Guardian of Light, Braid and Limbo to this list if they're ever discounted. Granted those are older, but they still represent A+ XBLA material and worth checking out if people haven't already done so.

@mcnerven True that. Even at the price it's at now, Super Meat Boy is a steal for what you get out of it. It'll certainly keep one busy for a while....except me apparently 'cause after I checked my cheevo dates I got the Golden God achievement not even a month after I bought it...I'm still on 105% because for some reason I can't for the life of me beat the glitch world in the Salt Factory.

@Churrotastic Unless they changed something glitch worlds don't count toward your overall % completion. Agreed on bang for your buck with Super Meat Boy, 300+ levels plus some really good free DLC to compliment that. Lots of bandages to find

Everyone should get Beyond Good and Evil, it's surprising it didn't sell well when it first came out. By the way the soundtrack is awesome!

What's a good kinect game for an 8 year old?

@MarkezJM

Fruit Ninja. If you want something more brick and mortar like, Kinect Disneyland Adventures and Sesame Street are good. Kinectamls is adorable, but over quickly.

Needs Trenched or Iron Brigade or whatever it's called.
2011 has seen some good games come out of Double Fine.

It's already been mentioned a couple times, but patience in buying XBLA games this month will more than likely be rewarded. Xbox usually offers good Christmas and New Years deals on downloadable games.

"Rotastic" is a cool little game, and as an added bonus, you can play it with one hand.

I don't know why, but I felt compelled to buy the Section 8 game when it came back. I've never even touched it, and I suspect the community is nearly dead now. That's the problem with this online only games.
