The most awesome part about this is that they're not just changing the textures, but actually creates brand new 3D models. Even the faces change!

I am a life-long Batman geek, and so I bought this. Some of my favorite Bat-incarnations in here. At less than a dollar a skin, it even seems fair.

This is the first arguably worthwhile DLC, sadly, but I'll pass for the moment. It'll probably go on sale while I'm beating other games anyway.

$5 seems a bit much but still better than buying late and not having an option. I want the batman returns suit so I can say "I'm too old for this" whenever street thugs jump me.

I like that they included the Batman Beyond costume, but it looks really weird on uber-muscle Batman. Plus it's the only costume that doesn't have a cape, so there's nothing between you and Batman's glutes...

@Specks

Remember the first episode of Batman Beyond? Bruce Wayne was pretty huge in the future Batsuit, so I'd say this is pretty accurate.

Agreed, and do you remember how he flew? A cape would just get in the way. I'm curious though, how does the stun animation work without any sort of cape?

@Vic Fontaine In the Batman Beyond skin he has small wings that come out of his back when he glides and cape stuns.

True but the visual style of the show made Bruce wayne look more streamlined instead of bulky, so it worked.

I'm not a fan of paying for skins however, that Batman Beyond one is enticing.

Nah, just kidding. This is why Superman works alone. -headtilt-

I'm not opposed to buying new skins, but after watching this video I've realized that I like the default one the best. All other ones feel kinda out of place.

Those DCAU skins are hot........ god how I miss the DCAU :( I'd kill for more Batman Beyond or some Justice League Beyond.

That Sinestro Corps is pretty cool too, if only it actually did something.

@Vic Fontaine

Exactly. These skins are pretty bitching, but they don't do shit. Considering you already need to beat the game to use them in story mode, why couldn't they make them more like the God of War skins? (i.e. Each skin has different bonuses, like less health/more damage, more health/less damage, extra xp,,etc...)

Different gadget use effects, at least for Sinestro Corps and Beyond

Also, not being able to use until post-campaign makes me sad.

Not interested. Haven't bought one piece of Batman DLC, because I refuse to pay for content that - only a few years back - would have been an incentive to replay the game. I know how much fun I had replaying God Of War 1 and 2 with the costumes you got for completing the game.

There would be no hesitation if WB would actually offer something story-related, but I dread what that would mean for the inevitable sequel: An even SHORTER campaign, with bits cut out. There are enough people out there who would buy that.

I wish they had made a mode where you could "Animated Series" ALL the characters in the game and not just Batman. The stark contrast of all the new costumes ruin the visual continuity a bit for me. But hey, thats why its dlc. You don't have to buy it if you don't like it.

I'd buy this DLC in a second if my game save hadn't been deleted 50% of the way through. For those that don't know, there's a major bug with the game. Check out the forums. A lot of people with an XBox have had their save game files deleted and Joystiq even posted about it. IMO, BAC is the best game of the year and this major issue completely ruined it for me.

Too bad you can't repair the default costume I like it in pristine condition. Likewise, I would've liked to see Beyond damaged and exposing its red circuits like in the cartoon.
