Q? Entertainment reveals Ninety-Nine Nights Online

It's been a busy year for games, but something is missing. Batman, Assasssin's Creed, Skyrim, sure, those are all great, but what about Ninety-Nine Nights? Q? Entertainment has got you covered, unveiling the 2D PC action MMO we've all been dying to play. Ninety-Nine Nights Online is being developed by UserJoy Technology, and the trailer reveals that it contains both hacking and slashing.

We'd say this one probably won't see a release outside Asia. If you feel like braving lots of Japanese text, however, Siliconera reports that you can sign up for a preview version over at the official site.

Looks more fun than the 3D console version.

Wait, isn't this franchise owned by Microsoft? They published and marketed the first game way back when the Xbox 360 launched, then the franchise just went dormant.

@tendoboy1984 It is. This here is just another testament of how inept MS' Japanese division truly is. From having their party developers publish their IPs titles (i.e. Infinite Undiscovery, N3II), to lack to solid 1st party titles, it's a wonder what their Japanese division is getting paid to do. This could have made for an excellent free-to- play XBLA title (something like Dungeon Fighter Online).

People are still waiting on an announcement to Lost Odyssey 2. For crying out loud, their are more Blue Dragon games on a Nintendo platform, than Microsoft (and it's a 1st party ip).

It's no wonder most of their business is based in the US, Microsoft can't even operate their company on a global scale properly. From what you're saying it seems worse off than Nintendo's American division.
