Developer Frozenbyte revealed today, with the launch of Trine 2 on PC/Mac, that the original Trine has sold 1.1 million units to date.
Gamespot mentions a majority of Trine sales were achieved through Steam and the Humble Bundle, with a "notable part" also coming from OnLive. The co-op action title is also available on PS3, but never launched on Xbox 360 due to significant hiccups.
Trine 2 should not experience the same console issues, with the title expected to launch in two weeks on PSN and XBLA.

I got Trine in the Humble Bundle but never played it, just the demo. I pre ordered Trine 2 and came to the conclusion that it's one of the most beautiful games I've ever seen... So good for Frozenbyte!

I noticed that Trine 2 beta isnt in my steam games but its still on my computer, would there be any problems deleting the folder of it since its not being used anymore?

@Kibbles XIII
I deleted the beta, restarted my computer, and Trine appeared in my Steam games library, then I just installed.

@Da Mr
the game is about 3 heroes and each has his own abilities. warrior is good at fighting and throwing stuff, thief can jump around like spiderman and has a bow and wizard can summon crates and planks and stuff. classic combination would be: wizard summons crate. warrior throws crate. thief is standing on crate und jumping from flying crate to the lever.
good game. enjoying part 2 right now.

Just bought this on steam recently and it's gorgeous and a fun little physics based puzzle platformer.

Why isn't this game on XBLA as well? I'd love to play it and give them my money for it
