Battlefield 3 tutorial: Shooting down jets the awesome way

It's been fun, everyone. We've really enjoyed posting funny and awesome moments from video games over the years. Unfortunately, this may be our last time doing so because, frankly, it's hard to imagine something better than this. Prove us wrong, internet! Bring us more awesome.

I did this to a heli.

But it was just hovering there and I had a lot of time after I ejected to get my aim down and it took 2 rockets to hit it.

And I thought that was amazing. This is...just absurd.

The music on that managed to turn the awesomeness up to 11.

I have to say, you're video is better than this one, if it had the music...

By far, the coolest thing I've ever seen pulled off in a multiplayer game.

Okay. That was pretty dope.

There are times in my life when I think I'm doing pretty well for myself and am generally feeling pleased about everything ...

... and then I see something like this. And I know, deep down, I will never, ever do anything half as awesome as that.

the game probably recognized how awesome the entire situation was and just let him have it.

And thus is the reason why all platforms need a Battle Recorder for this game.

Imagine seeing that video from 7 different angles. With completely ridiculous and uneccesary clip transitions... In slow motion...

Regardless, Best BF3 Kill i'll see in a long time. Music made it even better.

Both games are "video games" in the end, but don't let someone using the game mechanics to his absurd advantage deter you. No one is running head on into danger because he put on his "Blast Shield" perk etc. And all the other arcadey BS that are surging into my thoughts at this time.

@Negatron Yup and atleast in BF3 you act like a solider as in you can run more than 10 metres and can even reload when running. BF3 has tried for realism with suppression, bullet drop and bullet crack as they fly passed you. CoD is, and always has been, more of an arcade game.
