Tales of Graces F gracing American shores March 13
30
It's been a long time coming, but it looks like the wait is nearly over. Well, by "nearly" we mean "three months from now," but that's better than nothing, right? The Namco Bandai localization of Tales of Graces F will bring purple pigtails and J-Pop to North American PS3s on March 13, according to the latest trailer above.
Now, there will be several points during this trailer where you will instinctively reach for the mute button on your keyboard, but we beg that you try and tough it out. Not because it's ultimately worth it, but because we had to listen to the whole thing, and we want you to suffer like we did.

Can't play it.
As someone who can't afford a PS3, I'm sad this isn't coming out on the Wii.

If you have time to game, you have time to find work and squeeze out $250. If you can't afford it you probably shouldn't be doing it.
Then again, in 2012 you have The Last Story and Xenochronicles... So you should be quite alright.

Wait, I'm confused... was it worth it? Ah, whatever, I'm buying the game anyway.

Why does it take forever for NamcoBandai to bring Tales to the U.S.? That being said, this tales game looks okay. I'll much rather have Tales of Xillia in English but that's probably coming here late next year to 2013... -_____-

Tales games have a lot of dialogue and don't sell anywhere near the number of games that other Bamco titles do. Which generally means that if they even do decide to localise it, they don't make it a high priority job.

I'm just glad that Namco-Bandai didn't forget about Tales of Graces F. After it was first announced a while ago, they've been really, really quiet about the game and I started to think that maybe they had decided against localizing it. It rocks that that's not the case. Bring it on! I'm ready!

More Tales is always a good thing. The last one I played was Symphonia and I have fond memories of that game.

Well I sure hope there will be a sub option because this abysmal dub might actually be a deal-breaker.

I haven't been this excited about a game release since KH2. I just now realized just how long ago that was...

Suffer?! I love BoA!
Hate to break it to you Jordan, but Japan and Korea have been turning out way more musical talent then America has in the past 20 years!

Agree completely, BoA is amazing! I'm going to assume he was talking about the character dubs and only the character dubs.

Mute what?
BoA is awesome, and the song was great! As for the character vocals, they were decent, but thats what you get and should be expected for a typical JRPG.
And yeah, I love to listen to JPoP, its better than most the shit that being churned from the US in recent years.

Tales of Graces F coming to USA shores is the best gaming news I've had in over a year. Since Wii or 360 never brings any good JRPGs over, I am once again leaning toward Sony. Now I can only hope they bring Tales of Xillia over to the USA, as well.
